First lesson of Alchemy [Tag: Alchemy Students]

Kyouko was on her way to the classroom. Alchemy was something she was always interested in and saw it as something useful for her future. She soon saw to the classroom door and smiled a tiny bit. Hopefully she wasn't late. Her smile returned to her normal look and she walked to the door.

"I apologize if I am late. I'm here for the class." Kyouko said calmly.

Korra was rushing her way to class, excited at but also nervous at this class as she admittedly wasn't too familiar with the concept of Alchemy but hey, good to do something new.

"I'm here! I'm here!" Korra shouted, sliding herself into the room unintentionally bumping into someone.

"Sorry," Korra apologize before quickly taking her seat in the hopes of saving face.

Roy sighed. Was this going to be normal? "Please miss, next time don't run in the halls or run in my class. You are very lucky you were early. Please don't make a habit of it." Roy said to Korra exasperated. He expected this behavior from Ed...Damn it where was he?

Roy glanced as yet another student walked right in frowning watching as the student sat in with the others. "What's so funny?" Roy asked narrowing his eyes at the boy. 

Sly was running down the hallways quickly. He spend so much at the library reading history books he lost track of time. Ironically, the class was being taught by the teacher who should had been at the train station but sent his sons instead. Sly hoped Edward didn't say anything to make the raccoon look bad before classes even started.

'If I'm late for this class, Tsubomi is going to be mad!' Sly thought, having promised his younger sister he would take one rather class that wasn't related to history of any forms or fighting.

He rushed into the room, stopping before he could bump into someone or trip over himself.

"Sorry if I'm late!" Sly said.

Kyouko just took her seat as some other students came into the classroom. No sense in seating around and getting bumped into again.

In his mind, Sly sighed in relief. Both for being on time and since Roy didn't say anything. The raccoon smiled.

"Oh yeah, everything went great. And it's fine, you don't need to apologize. Al and Ed explained you were busy with something important." Sly said.

Sly paused before he shook his head. He didn't see them at any point after he went to his dorm room or went to check out some of the building with Tsubomi and her roommate. If they were close by at any point, the raccoon hadn't noticed the two.

"Not that I can recall. Sorry Mr. Mustang." Sly said. "Why, are they taking this class too?"

Sly titled his head, a bit confused on why Roy would want to be called by his first name. Still, hearing Edward would be in the class his adopted father taught and was one of Roy's best students...well, Sly made a note to try to keep any short jokes out of this classroom for now.

From her seat, Kyouko raised a small eyebrow. She never could recall a teacher who had asked to be called by their first name by at her father's high school or any schools she went too.

'I wonder why he wants to be called by his first name.' Kyouko thought to herself.

Karma sat back at his seat, taking in the students in the class. A purple-haired girl who was quiet and seemed to have an analyzing look in her eyes. A dark-skinned girl who seemed out of place.... well not really considering this school has its charms and surprises. Speaking of which, a raccoon that Roy called 'Mr. Cooper' came into the classroom. He wasn't inclined to judge the students... unless they were bullies that is.

Next a younger boy came in... Dipper Pines... a nervous nerd? Reminded the red-head of Nagisa. And he looked like the type of boy to be picked on. He smirked at the thought. He then took note of Mustang and what he said. He wanted to be called Roy? Probably to make himself look younger and more liked with the students. He raised an eyebrow at the mention of the Elric brothers. Adopted sons? Incredidble talent in Alchemy? If they have said talent, why take the same class over and over? Unless of course there was another reason. The teacher was picking favorites perhaps.

It was an odd bunch of classmates and the one person that was determining his stay at Arcane, the whole reason why he was here to begin with, was right at the front of the room. He put all of those details in his head, taking it all in. He figured that he'll just watch until Mustang contradicts himself or when Karma figures out what kind of 'teacher' he really is... then he'll challenge him if need be. But if he really wanted to test Mustang out, he hoped that it would happen at the end of class. However, he'll jump at the opportunity when it would come. He continued to observe silently.

Sly tried not to chuckle at the way Edward shouted. The raccoon went to his seat while the event with the brothers and Ryuko was going on. It just made the temptation to shouting out 'shortie' even stronger. He couldn't help it at times. Sly grew up basically pissing people off while on the streets. But Sly thought he could keep from doing so in a new place-

"Hey shortie, glad to see you here too!"

-And how wrong he was. No doubt Tsubomi was going to scold him if and when she learned about that moment.

Well this was new. A short blonde kid and a tall boy in armor. Judging by how Roy reacted to them and how the armor one called the other Edward, these must be the supposed talented Elric Brothers. It was an odd sight. Karma's smirk widened at Ed. He'd be fun to tease. The black haired girl seemed interesting as well. He was a bit surprised by the amount of girls in the room so far, but wasn't bothered by it.  

Benjamen Kirby Tennyson rushed down to the Alchemy mentally cursing himself wondering why on earth he agreed to take this class for crying out loud. Oh right. Because it looked cooler than Science. And after taking science before coming to Arcane and this city. He wanted to try something new. Alchemy seemed interesting enough for him. As he reached closer to he classroom, he did not see a young girl in front of him and crashed right into her.

"Hey!" the girl growled annoyed.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry I didn't mean -" Ben said rather quickly. The girl turned around and glared at him Ben recongized her instantly as his cousin Gwen. "Oh it's just you." Gwen's glare didn't change as she looked at him with hatred.

"Ben! You know you're not supposed to run in the halls!" Ben scoffed at his cousin.

"What are you? My mom? A teacher? Grandpa Max? I don't see any teachers or Grandpa Max around here. Soo..." Gwen rolled her eyes.

"Where are you supposed to be going for your next class?" Gwen asked cutting off Ben.

"Uh...Alchemy." Gwen looked at Ben in surprise.

"Alchemy? Didn't think that was your style."

"Yeah well. It looked interesting enough." Ben said. "Why do you even care?" Gwen crossed her arms and sighed.

"Because I'm taking Alchemy as well." Gwen said. "Come on Ben, it's just right down the hall. We can walk to class together." Gwen said. Ben sighed reluctantly he looked at his cousin.

"Fine." Ben said annoyed as they walked together to the classroom. "Um. We're not late are we?" Gwen asked nervously as soon as they arrived in the classroom. Roy shook his head.

"No you're not. There's still a few more students that haven't arrived yet." Dipper looked on in thought. He hadn't seen Mabel since their last class. Last he remembered she was debating on between Alchemy and Science. He knew science may not be her strongest suit. But the two agreed that if he agreed to take Fusion with her then she would take a class that he enjoyed in return. He really hoped she would take Alchemy as it seems to be the most interactive and interesting than regular old science.

Honoka was so embarrased about that, she took Kanji from the desk from the girls that are studying there.
"I am so sorry for all" she apologized by sit around a new place around Ryuko and Edward. She just sit down nearby where the small boy called Dipper was going to be. She just hold tight her elemental who mews all the way. Even after arriving at the desk.

Mabel hurriedly rushed towards the Alchemy classroom. She wished that she had taken Science instead. It looked so easy. But Alchemy looked way more interesting than boring old science. Mabel took deep breaths as soon as she finally arrived to "Sorry! I was trying to find where the classroom was. I nearly went to the wrong classroom." Dipper rolled his eyes.

"That's quite alright Miss. Pines, be sure to not to make a habit out of it." Mabel nodded her head at the teacher and walked over to her brother.

"Hey bro- bro. Surprised?" Mabel asked with a grin on her face.

"Are you sure you want to do this Mabel? It looks very advance. I don't want you to pressure yourself." Dipper said.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine. I have you to help me if I ever get stuck right?" Mabel asked with a grin on her face. Dipper sighed.

"That's only if you do most of the work. I'm not doing it for you so you can slack off." Dipper snapped.

"Deal!" Mabel said with an excited grin.
