Homura Akemi was over looking the files of the students joining the academy. While it was true she didn't need to do so, her curiously got the best of her. After all, there were magic and non-magic users coming from all over the world. And it would be her and the other council members job to keep a watchful eye on them in case trouble would start to rise in the city.
So far, everything seemed perfectly normal with the students. A few element magic users like fire and water, some shape shifters, and a few non-magic users. There were even a few monsters joining the school this year. Each with huge dreams for the future, no doubt.
'There doesn't seem to be any curse beings this year.' Homura thought.
Seeing it was a huge relief to the black haired woman. She didn't want anyone to get their powers the same way she got hers.

she heard footsteps and saw an 60 year old man black hair in a ponytail, two scars on his face, and wearing white japaense style clothes. it was Eraqus

"Eraqus. Good to see you." Homura said, in a more neutral tone. "How are Ven, Aqua, and Terra doing? I heard Ven joined the academy this year."
Truth was, she had already come across Ven's student files. But she wanted to hear things from someone who knew the boy personality. After all, Homura recalled the times Ven tried to sneak off to join the school.

good afternoon to you to Homura. Terra and Aqua left to her shop for the day, but they have been good. and its true, Ven recently enrolled to the academy and should be there in the dorms at this moment.

Some people would chuckle a bit. Through Homura didn't. She understand how annoying it much have been whenever Ven did that.
"What did he do to try to sneak into the school this time?" Homura asked.
No sentence in acting like she didn't know. Plus, who knew: Maybe this information would lead to an idea she could suggest to Yuko to make the school safer. If that was even possible.

apprenlty he tried to get out through the window of the attic. but his bag got stuck, and when he finally got it unstuck he lose his grip on the rope luckily Aqua and Terra was there and Aqua used her barriers to catch him" eraqus said "honestly, Ven may not be physically strong, but hes quick on his feet

Homura rolled her eyes a bit at the newer attempt.
"I swear, that boy." Homura mumbled quietly to herself.
She had seen a few pass attempts before during past years. Even had caught him a few times herself. She lose count on how many times he came close to out running her. Didn't help her body was still at of a very young teenager rather than the twenty nine year old she truly was.
"Still, I'm glad to hear Terra and Aqua caught him before he could get hurt." Homura said, "By the way, have you seen any of the others?" Referencing to the other members of the High Council.

he put his finger on his chin "not really. though I think Frollo is either near the fire place or out in town..." he sighs "you know, part of me understands why he tries so hard. hes already 15, and he still growing, of course hw wouldn't want to stay cope up in here its just.... I cant help but still see him as the little 10 year old on the night I found him
Homura remembers the night Eraqus found Ven, how he was carrying the young boy ,trying to find for help

"Figures with Frollo." Homura mumbled to herself.
She couldn't stand that man at times. However, Homura give a small rare smile at the memory of when she first met Ven. It was the morning after Eraqus had found the young boy.
"Right, I remember that. You've done a good job rising him." Homura said. "As well as Terra and Aqua."

thank you Homura" Eraqus smiled "i couldn't be more proud on how they turn out to be....and im glad Terra forgive me after the little... inccedent" he frowned at that part "but you could also understand why im so protective of Ven, when I found him he barely couldn't speak, he could only remember his name and was very weak, his eyes were even dull, it didn't have his usual spark of life and curiosity he has now
homura nodded, when she first met Ven, he was quiet, looked scared, confused. it was kinda surprising by how he was back then he's now running all over the place laughing like the child he is right now

"You're very much welcome." Homura said, "And believe me I do understand why you are protective. It's only normal to be so around people you care for. Course, I do agree, it is a surprise to see how much he has changed over the short five years."
Homura knew very well how it was like to be protective of someone. The black haired woman was the same way with her childhood friend before the 'event'. She wondered if her friend and Ven would have gotten along if they had ever met. Heck, with how the friend was, she may have even see Ventus as a little brother.
Homura glanced to some files still on the table. She wondered if Eraqus knew of any other students joining the school. Possible having heard anything she may not have heard.
"Say Eraqus, have you had a chance to look over the files of new students today?" Homura asked, "After all, Yuko did ask if we could."

Homura glanced at the file she was reading. A pair of siblings. The sister seemed completely normal, was able to shape shift into a bunny. But the brother...an illusion magic user with very little information on him. Homura made a note to look into it once she had a chance as well as to keep an eye on him.
"By the way...have you heard anything about Xehanort?" Homura asked Eraqus suddenly.
Ever since rumors had started on the old man, the black haired woman had been collecting clues which could possible be used against Xehanort. Something she did back when she was a bounty hunter and still used to this way when they were given cases on magic users gone roger. She didn't want someone like him on the streets if the rumors she heard were true. In her mind, he needed to be locked away with the keys thrown away.

not sinced the last time I seen him....after what happened with terra....
what made Xheanort even worst to homura is how he almost ruined Terra relationship with both Eraqus and Aqua

She made no attempts to hide the coldness in her voice. She wondered what the hell Mickey was even thinking when he had given Xehanort the job of a teacher of the school originally upon learning new information on the man. Homura swore the mouse was too kind for his own good and that kindness would most likely get him killed someday if he wasn't careful. Not only that but Homura was thankful the job Xehanort had was now in the hands of another.

Homura didn't say anything at first. She felt like it wasn't fully her place to make calls on Eraqus's own choices. After all, she may have done the same if she was in Eraqus's shoes and her friend was in Xehanort's.
"Eraqus...I know he is important to you. I'm mainly asking so we can make sure he won't target the students coming." Homura explained calmly.

its this new student. His name is Vanitas" Eraqus said "age, 15, powers: dark fire and the abilty to teleport while leaving illusions of himself. apparently hes not going to be joining the others student on the same day, but about a week later, maybe before classes official starts...

She frowned deeply. Why would someone come latterly like that? Heck, some students arrived on different days due to how far they travel but the fact his due date was written out like this...it didn't feel right to her.
