Mirajane sighed as she sat down on one of the couches in the staff room, relaxing. Today had been a long day, with both the teachers and the older students escorting the new ones to their dorms, and making sure no one got into any trouble yet. The white-haired was just taking a little break before she went back to see if anyone needed help. While it was nice to see more students that she would help teach to become responsible about their powers, it also meant more possible trouble-makers.
She was grateful that classes didn't start for a while, if they did this while classes were going on...oh, goodness, it would be an utter mess. Some students had magic, others didn't and some weren't even human, but Mirajane supposed, that didn't matter in the end. She was here to teach these children, and she was give it her best shot, regardless of their magic or race. They were definitely going to have bright futures though, some of them had even started clubs!
Just then, Mirajane thought of a certain salmon-haired fire-using teenager. She smiled a bit. 'I wonder how Natsu is doing right now?' Mirajane thought.
Natsu was her adopted son, and her precious 'fire dragon', as she liked to call him. The moment he came into her life when he was a baby left on the school's doorsteps, he already had her heart wrapped around his little finger. Even as he grew up, Natsu always remained her little boy. Now, though, she couldn't show favoritism to him, because that wouldn't be fair to the other students.
Of course, that wasn't her main concern at the moment. Mirajane sighed as she clasped her hands together in her lap. Now that Natsu was growing older and gradually becoming an adult, the shape shifter found herself wishing that he could have stayed a little boy just a little longer, wanting to turn back time so that she could have him for just a bit more time. But that was wishful thinking. She couldn't turn back time, and if even she could, it didn't matter if she wanted to. Every child becomes an adult eventually, and it wasn't her or anyone's place to try to keep her son from reaching that point.
Still, she worried for what the future will bring. Hopefully, things would turn out okay during Natsu's time as a student. Mirajane got up from the couch, leaving the staff room. That was a long-enough break. Time to get back to work.

Elsa heads to the staff room, she was quiet nervous sense these is her first official job as a teacher. She needed a calm quiet area to gather thoughts so she doesn't accidentally lose control of her magic. She figured staff room would be perfect for her to make a nice cup of tea or coffee and relax.

Elsa heads to the staff room, she was quiet nervous sense these is her first official job as a teacher. She needed a calm quiet area to gather thoughts so she doesn't accidentally lose control of her magic. She figured staff room would be perfect for her to make a nice cup of tea or coffee and relax. As Mirajan exited the staff room, she noticed Elsa walking down the hall way. She hadn't much chance to talk with the art teacher since she had become a member of the staff at the academy, maybe she could do that now? "Elsa!" Mirajane called out, waving to her fellow teacher. |

"Hello Mirajane." Elsa smiles walking over to her. "How are you doing so far, Elsa?" Mirajane asked. It was rather common for a new teacher to become anxious, so she wanted to be able to help Elsa if she possibly got too nervous. After all, what from she knew of her, Elsa was a calm and kind woman, so Mirajane was looking forward to getting to know her as the school's year went on. |

It's my first official year as a teacher." but she was also nervous about how her younger sister Anna will do these year. Maybe Mirajane could give her some advise.

She remembered that feeling from when she first started teaching. She placed a gentle hand on Elsa's shoulder. "I know the feeling. Just do your best and you'll be fine. I'm sure you'll be a wonderful teacher." Mirajane reassured. |

Mirajane's eyes widened before they softened, leading Elsa to the staff room by the hand on her shoulder. Since they appeared to have the same problem, perhaps they could help reassure each other. "I see. Well, how about we get a cup of tea or coffee? I'm sure it'll help you feel a better about your sister." Mirajane said. |

"That sounds nice, Mirajane." Following her feeling a nice soothing cup of tea would calm her nerves down. And getting to know more of that staff on the academy would be good because then she wouldn't feel so uncomfortable around the school.

"Well my sister is a very kind and caring person but... She's a bit naïve. And I'm just worried someone will take advantage of her again and hurt her." Elsa being worried her sister will be tricked by someone like Hans again. She hates seeing her sister get hurt and worries for her a bit too much.

Elsa being worried her sister will be tricked by someone like Hans again. She hates seeing her sister get hurt and worries for her a bit too much. "I see.." Mirajane said. That was an understandable concern, especially for a mother like herself to understand. Still, many of the students that have come to the school over the years were kind and didn't take advantage of others, though there were a few jerks and bullies she wouldn't name. "I'm sure your sister will be fine. Many of the students here are kind, and will surely help her if they notice someone trying to use her, as before. Even though there can be bullies and the like, there are good kids here who will help her and keep her safe from them." Mirajane reassured Elsa. |

"I just...want to turn back time for just a little longer. But I can't do that, every child has to become an adult eventually. Besides, he'll always be my baby boy, he's just growing up." Mirajane said. She still had time with him, just because he was growing up didn't mean that he was leaving her forever. |
