Spirits Around Us [Tag: Rei]

Soon as Rei climbed up into the carriage, John followed in and closed it.

The coachman climbed up the carriage and whipped the handle at the horses for them to move.

"Ya better not be motion sick lad...not like that little pink-haired pyromaniacal little git I used to travel with into town to help get him groceries." John spoke to Rei as he rested his back on the seat, remembering the last time he travelled by coach with someone.

Later, the carriage made its way into the Arcane Magia dormitory. The coachman unpacked Rei's luggage as John got out his small bag of gold and silver coins and paid the coachman.

"Keep the change Mate" John said as he paid the coachman one gold coin.

"Yeah, Beautiful. Why don't we get ye some keys to your assigned dorm? After that I need to go tell that witch you 'ave arrived" John took one of Rei's bags and walked on.

After getting a key for Rei, he and John were walking down the halls of the dorm. There were portraits that seemed to be moving by themselves with some transforming, one of which was a woman reclining on her chair and then transformed into a panther woman and hissed at John.

"Oh keep your claws to yourself, ya sniveling furball" John glared at the panther woman portrait before the two walked on as Joh mumbled annoyingly "Bloody portraits..."

The two arrived at one of the doors. John unlocked the door and opened it up "This will be your room" John said and dangled the key "And this is your key. You lose it, your screwed." he then handed the key to Rei.

"Now, if you excuse me; I've got to report to the witch herself. Make yourself comfortable. If you have any questions, say it now, or forever hold your peace" said John, sounding disinterested now.

John shrugged, leaning against the corner of the entrance "Sorry, don't know who your roommate's gonna be. You should check with your landlord to see who you goin' to bunk with. Now if you excuse, Lad. I am going to be report to the witch"

He was about to leave before stopping and turning to Rei "By the way, one more thing. I did say there are some parts of the schools that are haunted, but Heaven forbid that there'll be spooks mucking about other people's lives. If ya see those blokes, report to me immediately. Ya got that Lad?"

John smiled a bit as he nodded, seeing Rei's ability may make his job in battling malicious spirits a lot more convenient. While he spends most of his time as a teacher, he occasionally exorcises demons and dark spirits disrupting the daily lives of students, teachers and the townspeople alike. He may seem like a indecent drunkard and smoker, but he does care for the well-being of others.

John then got out his business card and handed it over to Rei "Here, in case your peepers see those sorry sods go bump in the night."

It had a picture of John and it had its profile. It said that his name is John Constantine, and his age is 31. His occupations include Teacher of Rituals and Magical Artifacts at Arcane Magia and an Expert Exorcist.

"See ya around Lad" John bid farewell and closed the door to go report to the Headmistress or the "witch" he was referring to.
