Oogie sighed, laying down on his bed in his dorm as he looked around the new dorm room with Be'el playing with a couple of blocks. After his ordeal with Karma and exploring the school, he was just trying to rest before classes would start. He knew that he wanted to pick classes where he would find the strongest person to give the baby to even though he didn't want to. He definitely knew that his sadistic roommate would never get Baby Be'el in his life time.
"Knock, knock~" A voice cheered playfully outside as the door opened to the redhead. Speak of the devil...
"Daba!" Baby Be'el squealed, seeing Karma enter the dorm. Karma smiled and kneeled down in front of the baby.
"Hey, cool guy. I see you missed me a lot. I missed you to." He was about to pick up Be'el when he backed up a bit to see Oogie's head leaning down towards him.
"Well I don't miss ya! Keep yer personal space away from da kid..." Oogie growled.
Karma smirked. "Aww, don't be like that. I thought we had chemistry together! Besides, I'm here to ask a favor. Take a look at this." He handed his roommate an orange flyer.
The flyer read:
Ghostly Horrors:
From now until October 31st, students can partake in Halloween activities around the school and city such as selling baked goods, face painting and more. This is a fundraiser to raise money for future academy events. To apply for an event by yourself or with a group, talk to Saber.
The Student Council
Oogie glanced up at Karma. "Okay, what about it?"
"You see, this friend of mine asked me to help and you two are the strangest beings I ever met so I was thinking that we should do something for Halloween together."
Upon hearing that, Baby Be'el perked up while the bag of bugs almost choked at the thought.
"WHAT?! Me? Workin' with you? Ha! Fat chance! Ya probably doin' this just to scare people."
Karma shrugged. "I can't argue with that. I was just thinking we should start over and everything. Besides, this is probably your baby's first Halloween. Wouldn't want to ruin it for him or bore him with it. You know what? I'll just take him instead." He almost picked up said baby again when a burlap hand slapped his hand away.
"Oh hell no, you are not takin' mah baby to who knows where! Count me in then... but it's only until Halloween's ova!" Oogie snarled, grabbing Baby Be'el and holding him carefully, keeping a watchful eye (or lack thereof) on his roommate. Karma's grin grew. It couldn't be that bad, right?
The next day at the theater entrance there was a sign that said, "Auditions Opened for Halloween Play: The Three Demons. Meetings Held After School. If interested, ask for Karma or Nagisa."

"Y'all gotta be kiddin' me!" Oogie groaned, sitting on the stage while wearing a black cloak. With Halloween around the corner and after struggling to put Be'el in a diaper, Oga had snapped and changed to Oogie, not pleased. "Ya didn't say I'm gonna do acting and stuff. I'm only doing this for Be'el! Plays aren't mah thing!"
"Sorry, Oogie, but you, Karma, and your baby are the main characters in the story. Once we have some more people coming over, Karma and I will layout the story." Nagisa explained, holding a clipboard as he walked around. "Besides, Be'el seems to like it." The baby in question had a tiny green cloak on as he played with a plastic pumpkin nearby. Oogie groaned and face palmed... if he had palms.

Suddenly, the doors to the theater opened up. Adagio Dazzling started to come into the room. She had just arrived and dropped her stuff off at her dorm room when she over heard of the play. Naturally, she wanted to get a part, mainly a main role.
"I do hope I'm not late." Adagio said in a fake kind tone, mainly to butter the boys up. "I heard of the play and thought it would be a wonderful idea to see if I could help."

Suddenly, the doors to the theater opened up. Adagio Dazzling started to come into the room. She had just arrived and dropped her stuff off at her dorm room when she over heard of the play. Naturally, she wanted to get a part, mainly a main role. "I do hope I'm not late." Adagio said in a fake kind tone, mainly to butter the boys up. "I heard of the play and thought it would be a wonderful idea to see if I could help." When the door opened, all three boys glanced up to see a woman they had never seen before enter the theater. Baby Be'el looked on before he had a slightly annoyed expression on his face all of a sudden, going back to playing by himself. Oogie still had a scowl on his face, but he had a look in his eye sockets that seemed to say, 'Who's this chick?' Nagisa smiled and went up to the girl. "Sure. Just take a seat. We're just waiting for other people to show up. Who are you if I may ask?" |

Adagio sat down in one of the chairs, crossing her leg a bit. She smiled at Nagisa while ignoring the other two in the room. "My name is Adagio Dazzling. Not sure if you've heard of the last name before." Adagio said. Nagisa thought a bit, then shook his head. "No... I moved from Japan to over here. But it seems like an interesting name. Have any experience acting?" He asked, jotting her name down on his clipboard. |

The expiation of him being from Japan explained why he didn't know of her parents. Most folks around Lunaville knew Adagio's parents well due to their magical skills. Still, she smiled. Partly to keep up the nice girl act. No sense in ruining any chances in getting into the play.
"Thank you. And yes. I may not look like it but I've been in a few plays here and there." Adagio said.

Are you guys the drama class?" Nagisa looked to see a short young boy going up to him and he smiled, shaking his head. "No... we're just holding a play for the Halloween event. I'm Nagisa Shiota, and you are?" "I'm Steven Universe, a Crystal Gem. Well... at least I want to be one!" When Steven came into the room, Baby Be'el turned to see him before babbling happily, waving his hands up in the air. Steven noticed the baby and waved happily, then asked Nagisa. "I just came here to join the Drama Class, but can I join the play with you guys?" "Sure. You can ask my friend Karma. He's also going to be in Drama." Nagisa said. At that moment, someone came on the stage. It was Karma wearing a dark red and black cape, a dark suit, and devil horns on his head. Be'el squealed in delight whereas Oogie groaned in annoyance. Nagisa didn't seem too surprised at this while Steven looked in awe while whispering. "He's so beautiful!" |

Adagio had looked over to Steven when he entered the room. Hearing he wanted to enter the Drama club, most less the play made her raised an eyebrow. He already seemed pretty hyper to her. She questioned just how skill of an actor he was in her mind.
Through she smiled when she saw Karma. So he was the one running the play. Adagio thought he looked perfectly normal and saw he was already focus on the play by the costume he wore.

Anna runs into the theater room, she heard of audiences for a play and she was really excited she hasn't been in a real play in so long. She ran out of breath because she heard of a play audiences from someone, she couldn't remember who told her these but so she ran from where she heard about it to here. "I... Heard... Of the play... And... Hold on... I need... To catch... My breath..." Anna almost ready to collapse on the ground but she got her breath and saw Karma, she smiles a bit but still catching her breath.

Oogie looked at this, mouth agape before he scowled and the snake that served as his tongue hissed angrily. "Don't lose a stitch. I'll give him back." Karma turned to Oogie, his smirk widening at his roommate's hidden jealously before he sat down on the edge of the stage, Baby Be'el on his lap. Steven noticed the recent newcomer coming into the room catching her breath, so the boy went up to the girl that just came in. "Hey, are you okay?" |

She smiles then she realizes she should introduce herself to steven then meet and greet the two other people she has never seen before.
"I'm Anna by the way." Introducing herself to the boy in front of her.

She notices Steven and smiles she caught her breath. "I'm fine, just got a little too excited about the first play of the school year." She smiles show Steven she's fine. She noticed Karma with a green hair baby on his lap and smiles. "Hey Karma." She smiles then she realizes she should introduce herself to steven then meet and greet the two other people she has never seen before. "I'm Anna by the way." Introducing herself to the boy in front of her. "Hi Anna. I'm Steven. And that's Nagisa." Steven introduced with a smile. Nagisa smiled and went up to Anna. "Hey. I'm co-director of the play and a part of the student council. And it's not exactly an official first play for the school year. It's a Halloween play that Karma came up with to help raise funds for the school." The blue-haired boy explained. "I guess you already met Karma. There's Adagio, the baby on Karma's lap is Baby Be'el and the giant burlap sack that's glaring at Karma is Oogie." |

Adagio give her best fake cheerful smile as she could. Hearing she knew Karma made it clear she had to play nice to the orange haired girl.
"It is wonderful to meet you Anna." Adagio said before she looked at Steven, "And you too Steven. Sorry, I can be a bit shy at times." Hopefully that lie would help her out a bit.

Anna was a bit surprised hearing Karma came up with the idea to raise funds for the school by putting on a halloween play. When She met Karma he didn't seem like that type of person to do that, but then again
Anna is still getting to know people so there could be more to Karma then she realizes. But she'd still like to help. "It's nice to meet you. And I'd still like to help with the play in any way." She said to Nagisa, she did want to help. Her family does own a theater back in her hometown so she has seen many plays in being preformed and has helped out in many of the productions in her family's theater.
She notices Adagio and smiles clearly not noticing her lying and give her a smile. "It's ok, sometimes my sister Elsa is like that too sometimes. So you there's no need to be sorry about being shy." She said reassuring the supposedly shy girl that there is no need to be sorry for anything.

"Great! Since we're the only ones here, I guess we could start now." Nagisa said, looking around to see if anyone else were to come in now. When no one did came, he then added. "It's not really an official play since we were waiting for how many people would show up, but Karma has a general idea down.
Karma then started to speak. "Alright then. The story's mostly about three demon princes that came from the underworld to take over a kingdom under the orders of the great demon king, their father, but they get cursed along the way. The eldest, who's the next in line of the throne, would be Oogie, this cold-hearted prince who doesn't enjoy anything at all and he gets turned into bugs as his curse. I'm the middle child who loves humanity and having fun destroying things. My curse is dark flames and those I touch that aren't my brothers would fall under my spell. Last but not least is the youngest of the demon princes named Beelzebub, who doesn't want to take over humanity and wants to be a family with his brothers. He's going to be played by little Nagisa over here. When he gets cursed, the prince will change into a young child... played by this little guy!" Karma lifted Baby Be'el up a bit as the baby cooed. "Baby Be'el is going to be the main protagonist trying to save himself and his brothers from the curse."
"How the play would go is that both students, faculty and other visitors would buy a ticket and at the end of the play, everyone could meet the cast in character and spend the day with them. Karma wants the play to be interactive." Nagisa added.
"Dabu! Dabu! Dabu!" Baby Be'el babbled.
"Don't forget this is Be'el's first Halloween." Oogie reminded, translating the baby's wants.
"Oh right!" Nagisa remembered. "We'll also sell candies and goodies not only for snacks but for those who want to give Baby Be'el treats. That way, he'll trick or treat right here in the school." Baby Be'el nodded happily at the idea.

Adagio kept her smiling face through inside her mind, she couldn't help but groan. A baby being the star of a play?
'That has to be one of the dumbest ideas I ever heard of.' Adagio thought to herself.
Still, she wanted to make a good impressment for everyone there. Partly to make sure she wouldn't be kicked out of the play. It could very well be a way to get bigger parts once plays the school would run started. So she figured she should act like she would go along with it for now.
"That is the most wonderful idea I have ever heard. I know a few stores where we can get candy for the play too." Adagio said.

"That is the most dumbest thing I eva heard if ya ask me." Oogie spoke up on his opinion. Mentally, it was rather strange how true it was with Baby Be'el being the son of a demon lord and his full name being Beelzebub. But... it was for his baby and a happy Be'el meant a happier life for him. He wasn't going to give Karma the benefit of the doubt. "First off, how did ya come up with that in a short time? And second, how are we gonna make it work? There's only seven of us!"
"I get my inspiration from interesting sources." Karma shrugged. "And we could make it work."
Nagisa smiled, noting the places to get treats and baked goods. "That's great, ladies. We could really use that to help us."
Steven thought about the scenario, also noticing the low amount of actors at their disposal. He could help out however he could and he remembered hearing about some magical gem shards that could be used to possess objects and he could tell them what to do. That could be a possibilty. He heard Pearl told him about it, but at that moment, he was preoccupied. He smiled and waved his hand. "Ooh, how about this? I could be a scarecrow who could be Baby Be'el's sidekick! And if no one else shows up, I might have something that could help us fill in stage crew and other characters we could need."
"That's a great idea, Steven." Nagisa nodded, thinking that Steven could help manuever the baby in the right direction.
As this was occurring, Karma took note of Adagio, his expression not changing at all, but in his mind he was taking notes. Why would someone considered "famous" in this town with the name Dazzling and with certain looks want to join in an unorganized play such as this? Although he had just met her, he guessed that she might be a vain person underneath forced smiles wanting a chance at the spotlight. To test this, his smirk grew as he spoke up. "We would also need someone who curses the brothers. Someone whose beautiful, talented, seductive... someone with the skill to be the perfect enchantress."

Adagio raised an eyebrow at the way Karma was explaining the enchantress. She would want that role in a heart beat. After all, if it truly was as Karma's say, it could score her big parts in future plays. But she felt like she needed to be careful too in her choice of words. At last for now. Since classes hadn't started yet and students were still arriving, Adagio couldn't allow a bad rep formed on her so soon.
"Well, there are two young girls here." Adagio said, "I think either one of us could work for the role. What do you think Anna?"

She heard what Karma and Adagio had just said. It would be a great idea for the plot of the play. "Yeah that's a great idea! And if any other girl shows up as well we should let them have the chance to audition for the enchantress too, to make it fair for everyone." She wanted everyone to have a shot to have a role in the Halloween play.
Marinette was about to walk past the theater when she saw the poster for the Halloween play. She was wondering if they might need help with costumes for it so she entered the theater to help. She sees seven other people in the room and she was a bit nervous and shy already. "Ah... ah.. hi... I was wondering if you need help with the costumes for the play or anything..." Marinette says a bit shyly. She realizes she should introduce herself. "Oh! I'm Marinette by the way..."
Anna smiles seeing the new person enter the room. "Hi Marinette nice to meet you, I'm Anna." Anna going up to meet the shy black hair girl. The two shook hand so politely.

Most of the group looked up when Marinette arrived. Steven recognized the girl from his art class, so he waved to her happily. Nagisa nodded at Marinette's suggestion. "Hi, Marinette. We could definitely need a costume designer for the actors. Thank you so much for offering."
Karma blinked, hearing what both Adagio and Anna just said. He had just described the perfect role for Adagio and she didn't take it right away? ... That was a smart move... if she was what Karma thought her to be.
"Alright then. We could do it that way if you want. We were just going to give out roles that suit everyone's wants and talents, but we could hold auditions as well." The redhead explained as he got up from the floor and passed Baby Be'el back to Oogie, surprising the sack in the process. He then jumped off the stage, his cape flying down with him as he landed and went up to the three ladies.
"Here's the scenario: you're a magical witch who worked so hard and so long on your powers and you're finally powerful enough to take over a kingdom that dislikes you. You were about to go do the task that you planned for a long while now when suddenly some strange men claiming to be demons from the underworld are going to steal and rule the kingdom themselves, stealing the dream you worked hard for. You had just cursed and captured one of the demons into your prison when this charming redhead comes walking by, trying to be smooth and get passed you. What would you do?" Karma asked, putting the girls on the spot.
Nagisa looked on, nervous. Karma had a knack of acting as he would use it to his advantage and that he was clever enough to improv on the spot.

That was an easy one to figure out in Adagio's mind. She just needed to think on what the character of the witch would do in that event.
"Well clearly I wouldn't trust him. After all, he could very well be working for the demons or be trying to ruin my own plans." Adagio said, acting like if she was in the shoes of the witch, "I would most likely try to capture him and lock him up so he wouldn't cause any trouble."

Anna thought about it, "I'd be very flattered and flustered by him in all honesty. And then get so excited I could break into song!" Anna being honesty that's how she would react to a guy being charming to her.
Marinette thought for a moment trying to think in the witch's shoes as well. "I... I think if I was the witch in the scenario I'd wouldn't completely trust the guy. But I would be fluttered by him, but I would want him to prove to me so I can trust him and let him pass." Marinette respond to Karma's question.

Karma smirked a little at this. Anna was out from the role as expected. Adagio had the right idea and Marinette seemed to be clever as well. He then added, coming closer to the girls. "What if he told you that he could see from your little act and claims that he could get you under his spell in mere moments? What then?"

"I'm sorry if I interrupted but I just wanted to tryout. That is if that's what's happening." At Snow White's voice suddenly spoke up, the room froze and the hidden tense atmosphere was broken. Nagisa, Steven, Oogie, and Baby Be'el slowly turned to the new girl in the auditorium, confused. Karma continued to stare at the girls he was judging, particularly Adagio as his eyes locked onto her eyes. He stared, then suddenly he chuckled and pulled back. "I've seen enough. Besides, this isn't like an official play, so we let others get the parts/roles they want. If someone wants the same role, then we hold auditions. It doesn't seem fair to force someone to audition for a role they don't want, right?" Karma said, more to Adagio then anyone else. Nagisa broke his gaze and smiled sheepishly, going up to Snow White with his clipboard. "No, you're not late and it's alright. What's your name and what would you like to do for the play?" |

Adagio smiled for two different reasons. One was due to how Karma's new idea could work for her favor a bit better and how her wording could help her keep the imagine up. Course, the original way Karma had it going helped show Adagio some other talents of the students and how his mind worked a bit. It was both helpful for any future plays and, honestly, a bit of relief to see things were being taken serious. Even if it wasn't an official play. To her, any show was important, no matter how small since they could be stepping stones for her goal.
Through some ideas mentioned still sounded dumb to her. And, if she was right on the red haired boy, she had to be extra careful on her words. She figured the excuse of stress with a new school year wouldn't work if she slipped up and showed her temper.
"If the others are fine with the idea, I don't see a problem with it." Adagio said. "After all, it is like you said."
