Gaara searched the shelves of the library, hoping to find something he was sometimes curious of once in a while. A question that dawned upon him the moment he met Naruto Uzumaki; were there other cursed beings like them? Well, there was his roommate, but that was a different case entirely. No, more like him and Naruto: beings in Japanese folklore and legend cursing random families for centuries? Was it really true or not? Are there vengeful spirits possessing generations of humans or is it all in their mind? Whatever the case may be, he had a theory that perhaps there was more than two since Naruto can shift into a NINE-tailed fox and Gaara himself can shift into a ONE-tailed raccoon-dog. There could be a two tailed cursed being or six-tailed, or any other number. He hoped that perhaps the library had information on cursed beings or of Japanese myths and their cursed beings. Partly, he doubted it since he was in a different country. Still, it didn't hurt to check it out and see what they have.

Alphonse Elric looked around wondering what part of the library brother had gone off too. This library was so big. It amazed him that this school had so many books. If it wasn't for his classes. He and brother would gladly spend all he could here..He walked through each bookcase and noticed someone looking at some books. Alphonse looked at him wondering if he needed any help. Alphonse walked towards the person and if he could..he would smile at him. "Do you need any help?" Alphonse asked the young boy curiously.

Alphonse Elric looked around wondering what part of the library brother had gone off too. This library was so big. It amazed him that this school had so many books. If it wasn't for his classes. He and brother would gladly spend all he could here..He walked through each bookcase and noticed someone looking at some books. Alphonse looked at him wondering if he needed any help. Alphonse walked towards the person and if he could..he would smile at him. "Do you need any help?" Alphonse asked the young boy curiously. Hearing a young voice address him, Gaara turned to greet the person... only to look up at someone wearing a suit of armor. Although his eyes widened a bit, he held no emotion on his face as he nodded. "Yes. Are you familiar with this library? I'm looking for some specific things." It was awkward asking for help, but he wanted to practice so he could put his trust on other people again. |

Alphonse looked at him confused. He knew where the books on Japanese and Asian folklore was. He read them several times. But cursed beings? He remembered seeing a few books and read at least one on the subject before. But why was he so interested? "Cursed beings? Why?" He asked. A part of him knew he shouldn't have asked it. But he was curious to know why.

Gaara nodded and followed him, glancing at the books in curiosity while doing so. Alphonse looked at the shelves trying to search for the books. It wasn't that long after when he finally found the books they were looking for. "Here they are. Hope they help you what you're looking for." He said with a smile at Gaara. Gaara blinked and took the books. "Thank you." Curious, he opened up the one from the top of the pile to a random page and read a bit of it. It was a book on Japanese myth and folklore. He didn't expect any new information, but at the page, his eyes widened. There was a picture of a woman with fox-like features on her face. The page read 'Kistunetsuki'. He read to himself, intrigued. |

It means 'the state of being possessed by a fox'." Gaara started to explain. "In myths, it's usually a fox that enters a young woman through her fingernails or her chest. The victim acts, eats, and looks like a fox while reading and expressing languages that the victim didn't know prior. Some believe that this is actually just an unknown mental disease that wasn't discovered yet in ancient times." |

Alphonse frowned. "Interesting.." He said. "If...you don't mind me asking. Why are you looking up Kistunesuki?" "I'm not looking at Kitsunetsuki specifically." Gaara replied, then paused. It was awkward, but he had to open up to people. "I'm researching that might help myself, my friend, and possibly others. You see... my friend and I are cursed..." Alphonse perked up at the statement in surprise. "Cursed..?" Alphonse asked stunned not even sure what to say to that. It made him think about himself and his brother Edward's current situation. |
