Oka huffed a bit as she carried a box full of decorations and props to the still-in-progress haunted house in front of the City Hall. A few days ago, Oka had applied to help make a haunted house before the 31st, so that both the students and residents of the town could enjoy it. They were almost done, in fact. She just had to put up the things inside the box she was carrying up and they were done.
The box full of decorations was given to her by two girls who stayed a few doors down from her, Tsubomi and Ichigo, and Tsubomi's older brother, Sly. The three had been kind enough to go shopping for what she needed during their own costume shopping. She would definitely pay them back, one day.
Anyways, she and the others were basing the haunted house off the occult and demons, which was mostly on the inside. The outside looked like an old and abandoned creepy mansion, leaving the visitors with no clue as to what lay within. Earlier, she had finished painting the inside with dark-red paint also given to her by the three, which helped add to the scary atmosphere. Now, all she had to do was get these props and decorations set up, and then they could start the terrifying fun for Halloween. The thought made Oka smile wide, she had always loved the holiday. And everything scary, as well, but that's beside the point.
Oka put the box down on the porch so she could open the front door, sighing a bit in relief at the loss of the weight before then grabbing the doorknob and opening the door wide. "Now, time to get to work and make this haunted house the scariest one yet." Oka said with a grin, as she picked up the box once more, and brought it into the haunted house, leaving the door open just-in-case one of the others working on it came by.
Hanging on the made metal-gates that allowed people to enter the mansion's front yard, was a an old sign, splattered with fake-blood. And on it said, in fading black gothic letters, "Welcome to the Demon Chateau!".

Adrien had his back pack on as he was rushing towards the meeting area. He had told Oka he would help with the haunted house she and some other students were working on. Thanks to some trouble Plagg had caused, again, he thought he was running late. The pet in question was in the back pack with his upper body out. From the look on Plagg's face, he was enjoying the ride.
"I'm late, I'm so late!" Adrien whispered to himself.
He soon came across the haunted house. The cat boy saw the door was already open and sighed in relief. Hopefully it meant he wasn't late. He walked into the house.
"Hi, sorry if I am late." Adrien said. "Plagg tried to sneak into the kitchen...again."
Plagg give a cat's version of a chuckle.

"Glad to hear it." Adrien said, "So, how are you? And what do you need me to do?"
He set the bag down. Plagg climbed out and sat down next to his owner.

Oka giggled a bit at the two's interaction. While spending time with Adrien and Plagg had helped her to come out of her shell, she had definitely become more outgoing as Halloween came closer. It was like watching a butterfly come out of it's cocoon. |

She wasn't sure what was used to make the items the three had bought for her, but she was not risking the chance of an ingredient being poisonous to cats. |

Plagg sniffed the items. He frowned and looked away. Nothing was food or anything he could play with from the smell of the items.
"Sorry about him." Adrien said.
Adrien walked over and picked Plagg up.

Adrien walked over and picked Plagg up. "It's fine. We should probably start bringing stuff to keep him occupied when we met up." Oka said. It was better that they be prepared to keep Plagg's attention on something from the start instead of him getting curious and possibly wandering off. |

The boy felt bad for forgetting to grab some of Plagg's cat toys in the rush to get here. "If you want, sometime this week, we go get Plagg toys." Oka suggested. After Halloween was over, she would have a lot more free time to spend with her friend. That is, so long as her classes didn't keep her busy. |

"Yeah!" Adrien exclaimed. So the two began decorating the haunted house with the supplies given to Oka by Sly, Tsubmi and Ichigo. It took a little while, especially with Plagg trying to bat at some of the things, but they were making record-time. At this rate, they would actually be open in time for the holiday. |

The two had finished hanging up the cobwebs and had set up the fake animals. Plagg tried to sniff a few of the fake cats out of curious, only to yelp a tiny bit when they were moved by one of the two.
