The Arcane Host Club room was decorated with spider webs and plastic pumpkins near the door as Hikaru and Kaoru waited for the current new hosts to arrive for their first ever meeting.
They had hoped that they would officially open the club to students on Halloween, so they decided to call a meeting to discuss the possibility of that.

Suzaku ran in realizing he late for the meeting and he didn't notice Lelouch was falling very, very, very behind. Suzaku temporarily forgotten that Lelouch stinks at running or anything that involves physical education.
"Hey! Sorry we're late-" Suzaku cuts himself off realizing Lelouch wasn't right behind him, he then hangs his head in embarrassment remembering how badly Lelouch sucks and hates running. "I forgot he sucks at running." Suzaku mutters slightly embarrassed he forgot.
Lelouch entering the room catching his breath. He knew he and Suzaku should have left the town sooner. He finishes catching his breath. He really hated running.

Bell walked into the clubroom calmly. She had seen the other males rush towards the host club's room, so she figured this would be a good chance to introduce herself. After all, she was currently the only hostess in the club.
"I'm here. I'm not late, am I?" The crimson-haired girl asked.

"I'm fine Ven..." Lelouch catching his breath and he heard that female voice in the room he didn't expect to there to be a female hostess.
Suzaku turns to see the girl who's probably a hostess. "Oh hi, I'm Suzaku." Suzaku properly introducing himself to the girl.
"Hello, I'm Lelouch." Lelouch introducing himself to the hostess in front of him.

Sly walked towards the club room as he took a deep breath. As far as he knew, Sly was the only full animal member of the group. Sure, the stares from surprised folks was nothing new to him. In fact, he was pretty much used it to. But he couldn't help but feel nervous since he would be working alongside them. He only knew Ven, the twins, and Gaara. Hopefully it would go well.
He noticed the door open and walked into the room. He saw Ven and the twins were there as well as two boys and a girl he hadn't seen before.
"Hi, sorry if I'm late." Sly said, a bit sheepishly.

Bell blinked when she saw the raccoon. She was a bit surprised at the fact that he was a member of the club, but took it in stride. They were in a school of magic, after all.
But what she found most surprising was that she was certain she recognized him. She had seen him with the two girls living a few doors down from Oka and herself, Tsubomi and Ichigo. They, and this Sly, had even given her room mate the last things needed to make her haunted house and had even escorted her back to the dorms. She would have to thank him when she got the chance, but first, came introducing herself.
"I'm Bell Renjoji, it's nice to meet you." Bell said, walking over to the raccoon and holding out her hand for him to shake.

Suzaku and Lelouch turn to see Sly and both of them were shocked. Suzaku noticed Arthur walking over to Sly and sniffing him. Suzaku shrugs thinking if Ven and the twins are alright with Sly, so should he.
"Hi, I'm Suzaku. It's nice meeting another member of the Host Club." Suzaku said while smiling kindly and walks over to shake hands with Sly, till he felt Arthur bits his ankle but he ignores it.
Lelouch was still a bit surprised. He never expected a animal to be part of the host club, he must have unestimsted in the twins allowing almost anyone in. He places a kind smile on his face as well. Then he notices Arthur bitting Suzaku's ankle so he picks up for the cat. "Hello, I'm Lelouch."

He held out his hand and shook both Bell's and Suzaku's hands. Course, he recalled the name Bell. If he remembered correctly, that was the name of Oka's room mate. He figured he would ask if she was the same Bell or not. He had notice Arthur bit Suzaku's ankle and was surprise to see the brown haired boy just ignoring it.
'Is he used to that?' Sly thought.
The raccoon snapped out of his thoughts than he heard Lelouch. He looked towards the second boy, "Hello. It's nice to meet you."

Lelouch uses one arm to hold the cat that try to move to his face while he extends his other arm to shake the hand of the talking raccoon. Lelouch has accepted that their is a talking animal now.
"Oh these is Arthur, the host club's mascot." Suzaku motioning to the cat that is in Lelouch's arms.

Sly held out his hand to Lelouch and shook it. After the two broke the hand shake, Sly looked towards Arthur.
"Then nice to meet you too Arthur." Sly said.
He never imaged the club having a mascot. Sly held out a hand to let Arthur sniff him before he would try to pet him.

Bell sweatdropped at the seemingly bipolar cat. Just a moment ago, he was clearly biting Suzaku's ankle, and now, he was purring away as he was petted by Ven while still being held by Lelouch. And now he was sniffing Sly's hand.
"Um...is there a reason Arthur seems to dislike Suzaku?" Bell questioned.

Both Suzaku and Lelouch have a pondering look on their face. Their really wasn't any reason for Arthur to hate Suzaku. "No, not that I can think of. And I'm is owner." Suzaku answers honestly. For being Arthur's owner he can't seem to think of a reason for Arthur to dislike him.
"His right, Arthur just enjoys bitting Suzaku." Lelouch explains as Arthur purrs when the two new host club members pet him. Lelouch was a bit annoyed that Arthur would harm Suzaku.

"Ahem!" Hikaru cleared his throat, trying to get everyone's attention. "If we could just leave the mascot be and focus on our first meeting, that would be great!"
"Our last member Gaara told me he was going to be late for personal reasons so he'll join us when he can." Kaoru said. "Now, the first meeting of the Arcane Host Club shall begin. The days are passing by really quickly and Halloween is moments away. Now that we have enough members, we were planning on having our official debut on Halloween where we dress up in costume and open for the students... due to the slow start however, we're leaving it open for discussion."

Sly looked towards the twins as they explained this. It was clear the group already had a lot of work ahead of them. While he already had a costume, it was possible some of the others didn't have one yet either. Plus, there was the fact they would need to try to get the attention of others with all the other events going on. Sure, some where already opened but other events were still being worked on.
"Well, with costumes, maybe they can reflect the person in some way?" Sly suggested.
