Personality: If you could describe Giselle in one word, that word would definitely be eccentric. To people who don’t know her, most people would think that she’s either from another planet or dimension due to her unnaturally happy nature. She can always find a bright side to any situation and tolerates people of all background. The downside to her optimism that she’s really naive and can be unaware of other people’s conflict. Giselle is also very creative and a hopeless romantic.
History: Born from a famous opera singer and botanist, Giselle has always been exposed to music and nature. Her mother, Magdalene, often got into fights with her husband, accusing him of being to into his work. The irony in that situation is that she was invested in her job more than her husband was.Due to this upbringing, Giselle always spent most of her days outside and by herself, talking to some of the woodland creatures.
One night at school, she was ending a talent show with one of her mother’s famous Italian sonatas. When it ended and she took her final bows, a herd of deer, chipmunks, and any bird you can imagine burst into the auditorium. Everyone in the audience was perplexed, yet impressed, especially Mr. Defoe. After the show, he revealed that his aunt was a sylph, or a nature spirit. The mystical aspect missed his generation, so, he theorized that his daughter had inherited the family gift. Mag, on the other hand, was less than thrilled. After a session of being yelled at for apparently ruining the contest, Giselle ran away to a small glen in Lunaville. She lived there for a few years, going to school at Arcane Magia, returning shortly after to accept the position of the music teacher.
