Suzaku was unpacking in his room, he noticed his roommate hasn't shown up yet so he decided to take the bed to the right side of the room. His pet cat Arthur jumped onto the bed and fell asleep claiming it as his own, Suzaku smiles and he unpacks his stuff from his suitecases. He was thinking these year will be interesting, seeing he is starting to make new friends and gets to stay close with his old friend Lelouch. He tries to move Arthur off his bed but just got hissed at. "Maybe my roommate can help me move you later...." Suzaku muttered.

Edward groaned as he walked through the Dorm hall to find his room. One of the things he wished was his own room. He dreaded the very thought of having one. He just hoped that whoever his roommate was wouldn't distract him from studying or looking up info about the Philosopher's Stone. He looked at the slip of paper that had his roommate listed. He was supposed to be Suzaku Kururugi. Judging from the name he was probably Japanese. He just hoped his roommate could speak English...He eventually found his room and tried to open the door, to his surprise he noticed the door had been opened. He opened the door and noticed that there was a brown haired boy already in his room. "Are you Suzaku?" Edward asked.

Suzaku heard the voice and turned to see the blond hair guy in the door way. "Yeah. You must be Edward." Suzaku smiles kindly at his roommate and he walks over to shake his hand. His pet cat Arthur woke up hearing the new voice in the room. The cat moved to meet the new person in the room as well. "It's nice to meet you."

Suzaku nods seeing that his roommate's brother just really likes cats. "Well that's good. And Arthur likes anyone. Well... anyone that isn't me." Suzaku being honest that his cat does like everyone but him. He then though he should get to know his roommate and help him unpack or something. "Need help unpacking?" He asked politely.

Edward shook his head. "Nah that's okay. I'm good." As he headed to put his suitcase on his bed opposite from Suzaku. He turned his attention to Suzaku. "Why doesn't Arthur like you?" He asked confused. There were plenty reasons why a cat or dog for that matter, could hate its owner. Why would this strange cat dislike Suzaku so much? Ed tried to imagine a cat disliking Alphonse with how much he loves cats. He can picture his brother's reaction clearly..so why would Arthur dislike Suzaku?

Suzaku thought why would Arthur disliked him, he fed him, gave him water and cat toys/snacks. He doesn't really see any reason for the cat to dislike him, he starts thinking maybe the cat just likes bitting him. And hissing at him... he sighs giving up reasons why the cat dislikes him. "I wish a knew... His disliked me sense me and my friend Lelouch found him." Suzaku leaning against his bed. Thinking back to that day and smiles a bit. Remember that day is how Arthur accidentally reunited Lelouch and him together. He then snaps out of his thoughts seeing Arthur playing with a old broken pocket watch. He tries to take it from the purple cat and Arthur bites his hand happily like his the cat's chew toy.

Ed's eyes widened seeing the pocket watch in the cat's mouth...how did he..? "That's my pocket watch..how the hell did he..?" Ed demanded. Ed growled as he went after the cat trying to get the watch back. He needed to get it back. It was important to him and his brother..

Suzaku gets a better look at the watch, he seeing it was silver with a lion on it. He felt relieved that wasn't his own pocket watch which was his father's. But he felt bad that Arthur was chewing on it, he can see Edward looks upset. And he picks Arthur up as hands Edward his pocket watch. "Sorry, he takes things he shouldn't be taking." He felt bad.

Edward glared almost murderously at the cat but stopped once he looked at Suzaku relaxing a bit. "It's fine. You don't need to apologize. Please keep an eye on him. This...this is really important to me. I don't let anyone but my brother to look at it."

He understood, he felt like that about his own pocket watch. He pulled his hand that Arthur was constantly biting away from him and Arthur then fell asleep in on his dresser. He was glad that the cat was bored with his surroundings, for now. "I will. I'll bring him to the host club room later." He then starts finishing unpacking, he places a old picture of him and Lelouch with Lelouch's younger sister Nunnally in it. He places it on his bedside table, that picture was taken before all hell broke lose for him and his friends.

"Lelouch thought it would be best for her to stay at our old school back in Japan." Suzaku answering Edward's question, he knew Lelouch was probably doing the best for Nunnally to have her stay in Japan. He knew Lelouch and Nunnally's foster family is quiet nice, so he doesn't have worries for her.

Edward nodded his head. If he hadn't thought of that stupid decision back then. If Alphonse hadn't become a suit of armor..then he understood Lelouch's intentions with his sister. He probably would have done the same thing as him if he had that choice.

Suzaku noticed his roommate was in deep thought about something. "Hey you ok Edward?" He asked hoping to get him to snap out of his thoughts. He wonders what is on his roommates mind. Then he wonder if he knew Lelouch's true identity, if he did he had to causally find out, his not the best of sneaking around.

Edward glanced at Suzaku with a frown. "Mhmm? Oh...I'm fine. I'm just thinking..." Edward said as he looked at his suitcase and saw a framed photograph Pinako Rockbell had taken of him, Al, and Winry and there was another one of a photo of him and Al..with their mother..before everything changed..

Suzaku looks in the direction of Edward is looking and notices the pictures sticking out of Edward's open suit case. He relaxes seeing that maybe something unfortunate happened in his roommate's life too like his own life. But he felt a bit bad that something may have happened to his roommate, he didn't notice Arthur jumped down from the dresser till he felt the cat's teeth sink into his ankle and he hisses a bit in pain looking down to see Arthur.

"Yeah Arthur bites me any chance he has." Suzaku being honest ever sense he and Lelouch found him, Arthur always bite him when he got the chance. But he found it odd the even thought the cat clearly likes Lelouch more, Lelouch told him that he should keep Arthur. So he had a soft spot and didn't want anything to happen to the cat so he took Arthur in, and he still bit him to these day. Suzaku was almost finished unpacking he was now just ignoring the pain that Arthur was causing him. He then noticed in the bottom of his suitcase he sees a cookie tin with a note taped to it.
He forgot his foster mother Cécile made him some of her special sugar cookies, he didn't mind stomaching her food but his foster father Lloyd did. He reads the note as he know they'll probably tell him what's in the cookies before he has one or give them to his friends at the host club.

I actually got Edward's alchemist watch mixed up though ^^  ) As Edward finished unpacking, he placed the photos of his family and him, with Winry and Alphonse, and then another with Mustang (they took it on one of Al's birthdays). Smiling, Edward turned to finish unpacking. He turned to look at Suzaku. "So...what are you looking forward too?" He asked. |
