It had passed two days since the arrival of Fran at the Academy, yet after feeding well and have water with a few ointments to take care for any injury that might hurt her by escaping, she woke up with small energies within her body; she was a bit confused to see the nurse area. She didn't liked at all.
However, she could see a few people inside but sleeping on bed or chair. One looked as the feathered boy she met in the shrine...yet the other was very off her memory limits. Either way, Fran got nervous. She ran at the door of the nurse room. By her surprise, it wasn't closed.
She sneaked out by opening the door and, begging in silence, the door cringes didn't woke up the two from inside. She closed as the door cringed back again.
"Where am I?" Fran asked as she walked to the right hallway by smelling something delicious from there "I think they do not mind if I go for some snack" going with small childlish jumpings all the way.

On the way, Honoka had started to do new discoverments with Kanji as she trained with a glass of water.
"Alright. Ready, Kanji?" Honoka asked with enthusiasm at the bluw slime that used the same Mu~ again to advise be ready...or sort of; the girl channels the spell momentum while pick slow yet focus the water of the glass; she looked with closed eyes the vibrations with the element and her elemental pet. Then, starting to perform a small figure of Kanji by using such water.
"Mu!!" Kanji's eyes shone with sparkles by seeing another slime like him floating on mid-air.
"Do not distract me, Kanji. This is very hard" Honoka warned at her slime to not interrupt her as she created via thoughts the slime.
However, she didn't notice the girl behind who was both marveled by looking such feat and look the small creature like water drop there. Kanji looked on her but couldn't do much by saying Mu,
"That's so amazing!!" Fran said with cheerful childlish behavior. She lifted her arms and hands near her face to demotrate her surprise.
"AHH!?" Honoka couldn't maintain the elemental in process due the sudden surprise like screams from Fran, the spell was dismantled and the water fell over Honoka who screamed due the cold water "W-Who...?" she asked, as her hair blindfolded due be wet, at the one behind
"Pardon me. It was not my intention" Fran apologized by trying to clean...somehow...Honoka.
Yet, she apparted from her by clean herself...it was so cold the water she sneezed a few times. She wanted to say something but the cold and shy in meet someone new stopped her. She just manage to smile thinnly. Yet, she ran away from her just for feeling cold. Kanji bounced where Honoka goes.
"...Sorry..." Fran felt she had made a mistake...as she continued downstairs to find food...but her jolly behavior turned into a guilty-sad one.

Fran continued her way through the massive structure she was find herself inside; she tried to find logic on her new location without going nuts and with fear around; she wanted to find the answers about be inside.
Nonetheless, her plans to meet someone had been ruined due face that girl with the slime like pet she was holding...and if she didn't hit hard her head, she could swear look at her lift water from a glass.
She was amazed by the simple thing that might be meant to her.
It seems she was in some fantastic land where magic and creatures like magic interact with people...she assumed there must be something she might can do around...yet she was not sure how others may react at her.
"I do not want to startle no one" she commented to herself "I hope there is someone around here I can talk freely" a big smile can be seen on her face, as she jumped happily as a child around the staircase...as the same was nothing to be worried about.

Not so far where Fran was jumping as the child she is, Yugo was making some trouble around by trying to make a few chaos while his dark side was taking control of his body. The Dark detected at the girl at the distance.
Leave her be- The Light side mentioned at the Dark but it didn't care a word about what the words of the other side wanted to talk about.
He approached where Fran was.
"Hello there!" Fran waved innocent at the boy that spreads a negative aura from its body, the girl tried to look at it as some power, but within herself she couldn't avoid but feel the exact same thing as she was in the first place she escaped.
Greeting, little one- The dark presented as looked on the girl who shivered by look on the Eliatrope approaching to her. You are lost...aren't you?- taking from her right arm with tight grasp.
"Agh!! It hurts!!" Fran cringed as tried to be away from him, but couldn't due her physical strength. "I did nothing on you!"
I know that, just going to have fun making you squeal as a pig- the Dark Yugo smirked as was ready to strike her as she was nothing but a ragdoll.
You are going to make us in trouble again- the Light interrupted
Silence! I am in control now- The Dark mentioned by gritting its teeth, until the Original Yugo ungrabbed Fran, who caressed her own arm by look with confused eyes at the boy.
"Escape...before he controls me again..." Yugo warned at Fran. The girl walked aside him as ran towards another direction. Yugo cringed but the Dark Side took control again.
Escape? Hehe...I love pursuits- The Dark side mentions as smirking almost unnaturally.

sayaka was looking for her dorm rooms, but she decided t explore the school. after all, she never was in a school so big like this one before.

Fran continued running away from the mysterious boy who turned be someone who has two personalities; and one extremely dangerous to be with. She continued running due the words of the original one who was being controlled. She couldn't but look behind if the mysterious one was following her...yet it was by turn right by bump with someone else. Fran landed on her rear as cringe-little in pain...
"Sorry..." she apologizes as looking on the blue-haired girl "...I didn't look at you, I was escaping from a mysterious boy who is somewhat possesed by some devil within" she commented as tried to stand up.
"I suggest you to run away before he came here"
Little girl! Where are you? The Dark-Yugo's voice echo from the other rooms sounded behind her. Fran could ran all the way around but she is not acquainted within the place she is now. And her shadow-like powers hadn't awoke already.
Now she compromise someone else into danger, she felt guilty for that.

"Please, do not worry about me...I didn't know what is going on here I just wake inside some nurse Room" Fran was not very habituated to speak with someone she is meeting already, but she doesn't want to see other take her place against someone who might be aggressive despite be a young boy.
The girl looked the blue haired one who was standing as some sort of guardian. She reminded at her someone very important.
She stood up by her own strength yet pulling the girl's arm towards another point within the building.
"Let's go. While we have chance!" She mentioned with serious yet obvious fear on her eyes.

Fran was not going to allow someone else be on terrible peril or danger; she had suffered from that once prision on the asylum she was being forced to be... Yet, she was not going to allow other share such experience. Even unknowing if the new girl was in the same train.
"Sorry for all the sudden. I do not want to cause trouble around... I am so sorry if I interrupt your way but please, I do not want to see other people be in trouble" Fran was ill-serious about involve others.
She was running with the girl but unknowing her name, or if she can be trusted entirely. Yet those are ideas she reserved by herself. While the Eliatrope be behind or wherever, she decided to escape until find someone for any help inside. Yet the place was humongous.
"Where now!?" she asked a bit terrified.
Yet it was a blast from behind that stopped her...it was the boy, but the darkness like-entity was being visible behind the boy as some sort of anthro wolf with black-jeans adjusted with a skull-like belt buckle. Carrying a big harp made with bones.
You ain't going nowhere. You with your friend are delightful snacks Yugo talked but sounded more aggressive than he is on appearence. As the wolf-like entity just stared at the girls from its position.

Sayaka glared, but she couldn't help but feel nervous. His presence was terrifying. But she needed to be strong for this girl. She took out her sword from its hilt and got in a defensive position

It was obvious the little Eiiatrope couldn't withstand the power of the darkness very well. Looking at the girls with hypnotic-dark infuse energy eyes. The boy was losing control.
Fran, who was escaping from him with the new girl at her side, didn't wanted to stay nearby the boy as use cowardly the girl to hide. She didn't wanted to that happen. Not again.
Step aside blue-haired one! Or I shall discharge all my fury on you The Dark-Form energy talked towards the new girl with black energy being created by the hands of the boy. Last warning.

Then, you give me no choice the Dark Side commanded the hypnotic-dark energy Yugo to lift his hand and fire chaos energy towards the blue-haired girl. As keep doing so. The energy bombs were not so big to cause cluster or crater around but enough heavy to be deflected without trip on the attempt.
Fran wasn't sure if the girl needed help or if she was capable to do harm by using her abilities. She was so scared to think properly. As she tried to sneak away but Fran wasn't to see the new girl who is defending be harmed.
The exit was open for her... Nevertheless, she stayed there with fear to confront the controlled by the dark-entity Eliatrope like kid. There must be a way to bring him back to his seness...
But how?
She decided to summon a small shadow-like a mouse.
"Go and find help" she said towards the small shadow as it parted for anyone who might help with their situation.

Fran's small shadow travelled around the mansion-like academy searching for someone who might help Fran and the blue-haired girl to stop the ransacking yet omnious powers of the Eliatrope before he harms the girls. Or trigger the defensive shadows from the small girl. Either way, the mission was much important.
The shadow remembered those who are staying on the nurse room. And redirect its attention there for anyone who might help back.
You are such an annoying bug The Dark Side of the Eliatrope-like wolf creature looked on the blue haired one with great anger as the one stood against his chaotic blasts; in few moments, a small creature portraying light, looking as some sort of small winged fox with green eyes appeared
Stop already!! We are going to be in serious problems by your attiiude Berating against the dark side.
It is not my fault the kiddo has a lot of depression for his father, I just use it to make myself visible at last The dark side mentioned while the boy just felt as a soulless puppet being controlled unwilling by the two ones.

While on the down levels of the academy, Fran with the blue-haired one ran away until reach the small room like cafeteria.
"I think... We lost him" she said by gasp hard "Are you okay? Are you hurt?"

Kazuaki froze, hearing the shadow's words. Although on the outside, he almost choked... he was internally screaming in his mind. Fran and another student were being hunted by a possessed student? His only response was, "Lead me to her!" before he immediately flew out of the room, heading downstairs as fast as he could fly, hoping to reach Fran and the other student before anything worse could happen.

Who is she? Fran, what are you doing out of the nursery?
"Nursery!?" Fran shivered in fear "Is this an asylum!?"
Not at all. This is an academy. People promised to take care of you... But I didn't waited you be here and away from those people...
"I was curious. That's all" Fran mentioned "Also I made a friend" she smiles by looking Sayaka.
So, you might be the new companion of Fran? I would like to say I am happy but there are a lot of things we shadow are not sure in trust or not. But we shall give you a chance Mr. Midnight mews a bit in offensive thoughts. But keeping defensive with Fran.

Kazuaki followed the shadow quickly, then stopped upon reaching the hallway that the shadow saw the Eliatrope in. He surveyed the hallway, his heart racing. Where was Fran? Where was Fran?! Maybe she's hiding somewhere? Maybe she's trapped? Regardless, it made him uncomfortable. It made him have glimpses of memories flashing in his mind... memories he wanted to forget... If the one possessed by dark and light could sense him, there was a faint smell of bleach that came... coming from the harpy. "... Where's Fran? What did you do to her?" The teacher asked slowly to the one in the hallway, his voice soft but surprisingly dominant. |

Perhaps Yugo was being controlled by the darkside already after win the attrition against the lightside, yet they were not aware of the new aroma that impacted them from behind, it was a sour aroma they didn't like it. And due the aroma of bleach, the darkside become more territorial. It looked on the one approaching as use the Eliatrope as the puppet he is already.

Rather than a more immediate action, the harpy stood at his spot. He had already encountered Fran's protective shadows to be familiar with the unwelcoming defense that Yugo's darkness dished out.... the chaotic blast was new though. When the words of killing Fran were uttered, the teacher froze, his eyes widened as he fell silent, not commenting on the bleach nor registering the light at first. Dark figures from his past flashed before him in his mind. Fire... someone being helpless. He frowned. At first, it looked like he was visibly shaking because he was scared, but it was far from it. Instead, he simply started walking without a word as if nothing happened, as if the floor wasn't destroyed nor the windows. As he walked, the beige feathers on his back were out and ruffled, as if angry. He stopped for a moment when he was next to the possessed boy, but he kept his distance. He glanced towards Yugo and for the first time since he came to teach at this school, his eyes were cold and narrow.
"... At Arcane Magia Academy, we do not tolerate those who harm our students with sick intentions, especially those who cannot easily defend themselves on their own." Kazuaki said, his words carefully chosen. Although his voice was soft, his tone was firm and dead serious. "I do not know you or your situation, but know this: I will never harm any student who comes into this academy. However, if you possess this Yugo of yours again and hunt down any of my students on my watch, especially Fran, I will step in. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm attending to my student." With that said, the harpy walked off into the direction where Fran went, folding his wings up as he left Yugo, not saying any other word. He felt no fear at that moment. Only hidden anger. One that he needed to suppress when meeting Fran again.

Sayaka looked amazed at the shadow cat, but was concern when Fran said "asylum" what has happen to this girl before? But it's best not to ask that

The darkside of Yugo didn't flinched by the strict voice of the teacher didn't cared about being such a teacher around the Academy. It smiled back when the one was going by following Fran, he could notice a something that was not inside the puzzle box. The mind puzzle box.
Yugo turned around at the teacher going at the other place with despicable eyes.
You are not her father. Nor a familiar of her. And you still trying to protect her as a pet-like slave... The day she realises it shall be your funeral. And I will be personally there to observe being bury. The darkside smiled in laughter Neither has the power to defeat the one who caused her pain.
There was a big pause. But in the end, the Lightside took control and leave the room before the avian-like teacher returns for explanations... Yugo left the area by toss a small gem at the ground It might be little but it is for the blast effects.
Fran smiled at Sayaka.
"Greetings" she said with a big smile on her face "Are you someone from the Academy's staff?"
Nice to meet at you, Sayaka. Mr. Midnight coughed in mews at her Hope you are not from the place we escaped
"Did they followed us!?" Fran got nervous almost instantly by the words of the cat.
Fran, there is no one around or away from here... I hope so... We are safe... Somehow... the response of Mr. Midnight with other shadows talking didn't helped at all.
"Then I brought them here!?!?" Fran was very scared "No no no no no!!"
Fran, calm down Mr. Midnight tried his best to calm the girl. This ain't good at all he turned to see Sayaka, who might ask what happened. Fran and us came from a place where she was tortured time ago, we could escape... But, memories die hard. And what they did to her was unforgivable!

... Those words repeated in his head, making him stop for a second, his hands turning into fists. He knew that he had only met her a few days ago. It was true that he wasn't her father or a familiar. However, he felt that he was responsible for her and through her, maybe he would have a second chance. He also knew that if he wasn't careful, Fran's shadows would end him. At least to himself, it didn't bother him. He knew long ago that the moment he left his home, he would be past the point of no return, that there would be darkness surrounding him and that in the end, he'll get what he deserves. Perhaps, this was why he slept all the time... to delay the inevitable. But for now, he had students to worry about. He kept those words in mind though. Not looking back, Kazuaki continued his walk, calming himself down as he reached to where Fran and the other student were hiding, his sleepy look on his face returning. He called out to her, "Fran? Are you okay? It's me, Kazuaki Nanaki! The harpy?" He said just in case she was disoriented at the moment. |

Fran was to terrified by the information that Mr. Midnight misleaded to say. She was in a corner nearby shaking in fear. While a shadow that looked as the size of a adult hippo was standing nearby her and Sayaka protecting her either for the danger she was into. And it shows territorial behavior. As soon as the harpy arrived the shadow spoke angry.
Where you been? You are not the guardian we hoped to see. You are not but a fiasco!! Better stay in distance or I'll pluck you down until you be only bone and blood.
