Personality: Nagisa is a calm and collected individual who is friendly towards most of his peers. He is very observant, attentive and eager to learn from his teachers in order to understand about magic and non-magic users. Deep down, he feels insecure, pessimistic, and has doubts about his abilities. Since he doesn't want to rely on his telekinesis all the time, he feels that he's between a non-magic user and a magic user. However, he uses both his telekinesis, his innocent looks, and his skills of using weapons to get by. He doesn't get fazed by unnerving things easily. He also gets mistaken for a girl sometimes.
History: Nagisa was born in Japan, having a Japanese non-magic mother and an American magic father. His mother wanted a non-magic daughter in order to experience the things she didn't do when she was young. Unfortunately, the opposite happened. To make due, she would abuse Nagisa both verbally and psychologically, force him to grow his hair out, wear female clothing, and avoid telling him about his magic. Because of the mother's abusive nature, Nagisa's father left the family in order to have a peaceful life. Life was normal for Nagisa until he entered Junior High where he met Karma Akabane and his power of telekinesis first happened during an exam. Not having the knowledge of powers before, he freaked out with his power out of control. After the incident, the mother always kept a close eye on him and he started to get low grades. One day, Nagisa heard rumors of a school called the Arcane Magia Academy in Lunaville for both magic users and non-magic users. At first, the mother did not want him to go, but after seeing that he might get better grades as well as better control of his power, she agreed for him to go under the condition that she will be allowed to visit to see how his son is doing. Nagisa took this as both an opportunity for learning more about himself and a somewhat break from his mother.
