Personality: Karma's well-known throughout most of the school as a violent troublemaker who enjoys causing pain, getting in fights, playing tricks on people, and uses foul play. Due to an incident with a teacher from his past school, he disliked teachers and lost most of his respect on adults at first. Intelligent, but lazy, he is capable of being in the top ranks and is considered one of the most attractive boys in the school. Despite his bad behavior, he has the capacity to respect and care for his peers, can be hardworking when he wants to be, and usually has good morals behind his actions. He would beat up bullies and protect the victims from them. He prefers to humiliate his opponent and uses either knives or hand-to-hand combat, only using his dark fire as one of his last resorts or when the situation calls for it.

History: When Karma was born, his mother died of childbirth through unexplained means. With a stern single father who taught him how to fight, Karma lived a normal life for the most part such as fighting bullies and reading comics. His life changed when he went to Junior High and met a boy named Nagisa who was reading one of his favorite superhero comics. For a while, the two became good friends. Up until then, he had been fighting off bullies and he was told from a teacher that no matter what, he would always be in the right. One day, Karma saved a student from a remedial class from a bully... but got punished for it because the bully had excellent grades. Seeing the teacher who believed in him berate him, Karma snapped, losing his trust at teachers. His emotions caused a black flame to suddenly appear in the room, burning the desk. He was then expelled from the school.

After this, his father was drunk and angry, revealing to his son that his mother died of a very high fever. He blamed his son for being a demonic magic-user and burning his mother from the inside-out. Both Karma and his father had an argument, resulting for the house to burn up in black flames and for Karma to leave home for good. He then traveled for a while, trying to make a living for himself while learning about the black fires he could summon and how they destroy everything they touch. Not wanting to burn something he cared for again, he vowed to not use the dark fires mostly unless it was an emergency and until he gained better control of it. For a while, he tried training himself while looking for his own home. Both goals seemed out of reach... until he came across Nagisa again. After hearing Nagisa's story of his magic and of the Arcane Magia Academy, Karma decided to give it the try. Despite the distrust on teachers, he needed to learn how to have better control of his new powers. The two went to Lunaville together to start a new life.

He is now a student at the academy and shares a room with Oga and Baby Be'el.
