Personality: Rainbow Dash is a very athletic, competitive and loyal person. She would do whatever it takes to be there for when her friends are in need. Despite these traits she’s somewhat self-centered, conceited, frequently speaking about how awesome she is to the annoyance of some of the students and staff. She hides a love of reading from some of the students as she fears this might ruin her reputation among most of the students; as she doesn’t want to be referred to as an ‘egghead’ as some of the meaner students might refer to her as. She also is a bit of a prankster though some of her pranks can also cause annoyance to the students and the staff depending on the prank.
History: Rainbow Dash had grown up in an orphanage in Lunaville having been there ever since she was three years old. Throughout her childhood, Rainbow Dash was constantly bullied because of the way she was brought in, as her parents have left her at the orphanage but no one has heard from them since the day she was left in the orphanage. Rainbow didn’t even know if her parents were even alive or not. When she was on a field trip to Arcane Magia with the other orphans. Rainbow Dash was determined to get enrolled. As she was hoping that if she got in, she could find out what happened to her parents. Though, this caused her to get mocked by some of the other children, it didn’t let it stop her from reaching towards her goals. One day, when Rainbow was around twelve years old, a teacher from Arcane Magia came to their orphanage, looking for potential students, Rainbow became excited as this would finally be her chance to prove herself, though as she got cornered by a few students who started to mock her about how she’ll never get accepted to Arcane. Though, having finally enough of the teasing; Rainbow decided to finally stand up for herself and prove herself to the bullies. As she did, the staff overheard the commotion along with teacher, that was there saw Rainbow Dash dodging the bullies attacks. Impressed by her abilities the teacher watched as Rainbow stopped each bully with her incredible speed and surprising flight skills. The teacher approached Rainbow after the bullies were stopped and given to the supervisors of the orphanage to deal with. The teacher introduced himself to Rainbow Dash as Roy Mustang and told her how he saw her handled the bullies. Feeling embarrassed, Rainbow Dash told him it was nothing and that she was doing what she was normally doing. But Roy didn’t buy it and offered her a place at Arcane Magia. Stunned. Rainbow Dash eagerly accepted the invitation much to the shock of some of the students and even some of the staff of the orphanage. But Rainbow didn’t care. She was just really excited that she was finally going to the one school she had been dreaming about and she was going to make her mark and prove herself that she deserved to be there. No matter what anyone says.
