Personality: Steven is an optimistic boy who tends to look at the brighter side of things. Friendly, outgoing, and encouraging, he is appreciated by mostly anyone he meets. He rarely discriminates anyone, practices non-violence and tries to help everyone with their problems. With his innocent, naïve nature, being musically inclined and socially oblivious due to being with the Crystal Gems, people mistake him to be just a young human child. However, he can be serious with his duties and understands about the dark truths of both the world and of Gem culture, making him more mature. He also inherited his mother's kindness and empathy towards both Gem kind, humans, magic users, and non-magic users.
History: For most of his life, Steven was born in Lunaville when his mother gave up her physical form in order to give birth to him. The first few years, he lived with his father Greg in an RV until he was old enough to move with the Crystal Gems at the Crystal Temple. Even though he had trouble with activating his mother's magic and still has doubts about trying to be like his mother, Steven enjoyed the simple life he had living in the Crystal Temple and visiting the people in the city. As he slowly grew older, learning about gem kind and how to use his powers somewhat, he started to notice things he didn't notice before such as the prejudices people had against each other and some things that the Crystal Gems would keep secret from him. He doesn't let that bother him most of the time. One day, both Garnet and Pearl told Steven of a school that would both help him with his magic and his education since they themselves had difficulty homeschooling him on human subjects. Seeing this as a way to improve on his magic, make new friends, and have fun, Steven obliged to the idea.
Steven is now a student at Arcane Magia Academy and would sometimes be excused in case of a gem emergency. Although he might be slow on some areas, he is eager to learn. He has a bedroom at the temple and a dorm room at the school. He shares a room with Dipper Pines.
