Personality: On the outside, Kyouko seems very cold due to keeping her trying to keep her emotions to herself. Very mature for her age and appearing serious almost all of the times, Kyouko keeps in mind the matter at hand and rarely opens up to people. She is very strong willed and is able to see good in people’s motives. Though she doesn’t have any magical powers, Kyouko makes up for her in her knowledge and her skills in normal weaponing. She cares deeply for her family, sometimes even losing her cool based on what people will say about them.

History: Kyouko comes from a long line of detectives. The only one to never be one was her father who ran a different school that focused on the talent of non-magical users. While her detective skills would allow her to get into the school easy, Kyouko felt like it could do more harm to her than good. After all, with the fact there have been crimes done by magic users or non-magic users who got potions somehow, she wouldn’t have a way to study information she needed in a setting like that. Thankfully, the Arcane Magia Academy was just the place she could learn it.

Through her father was against the idea for her safety, Kyouko had applied to the school with the help of her grandfather. Her grandfather saw it as a change to Kyouko to learn more about herself and hopefully make some new friends while learning skills that will allow her to become the next Kirigiri detective. However, to Kyouko herself, she views it as a chance to stand more and to get out of her family’s shadows, hoping she can truly become her own person and not just another member of the Kirigiri family line like she has been known as for most of her life.
