Personality: He is a caring stern man, considering Terra Ventus and Aqua as his children, and is glad to be able to teach them in his spare time. He wants to maintain peace in the realm and has a hatred toward darkness, as he would be devastated if any one of his "children" were taken away from it. However, after Terra was almost lost because Eraqus didn't trusted his new magic powers, he realized some darkness can be used to protect the peace, and blames himself for why Terra stopped trusting him
History: He went to Arcane with a young men named Xehanort, as the two became friends and formed a brotherly relationship. He excelled in his classes and showed promise, which lead to him being part of the council. He had a normal life as any student his age back then and looked down on those who would discriminate against non-magic user in the school. During his school years he learn about the balance in the realm and this lead to him hating Darkness.However after they graduated and Eraqus was accepted into the council, Xehanort , who became the defense against the dark arts before he retired and was replaced by Roy, became distant. Later in life he met a young Terra and took him in, soon later taking in Aqua and enrolled them into Arcane. When Ven was brought in he welcomed him with open arms and told Aqua and Terra about his memory lost when Ven fainted from Terra questions. Nearing the two graduation he heard about Terra new powers and began worrying for the boy, wanting to pull him out to prevent him from being corrupted by his powers. He sent Aqua to look after him and bring Terra to him if his power is becoming to much. Once Terra found out about this, a rift appeared, and Eraqus was heartbroken. Once he found out Terra wont listen because he believed Eraqus stopped trusting him because of his powers, he realized his mistake, and blames himself. After father and son apologized and forgave each other, Eraqus is a little bit more ok with Terra using his new found powers and trust that Terra can master and use it for good, and that maybe others can too. He confronts Xehanort , after hearing from Terra and Aqua about his manipulation, who Xehanort denies and claims he was only trying to help the boy. Due to their past friendship, he lets him go with a warning saying he doesn't want Xehanort near Terra, Aqua, or Ventus again. He constantly tells Ventus to stay away from Xehanort
