Karma yawned as he walked down the hallway, ready to fall asleep on his bed as soon as he was in his new dorm. The red-headed teen had recently arrived in Lunaville along with his friend Nagisa. That was around a couple of days ago. After taking a look around the city and proving themselves to be students at Arcane Magia Academy, they were accepted and assigned dorm rooms. Karma had enough fun for one day.
Arriving at a numbered door, Karma opened the door with a small smile, "Finally, a bed!" He glanced at the room, taking note at the empty neat bed on the right side of the room and the bug-infested messy bed on the left with a green-haired baby sitting on it- wait, what?
"Now I've seen everything..." The male mused to himself, his smirk widening as he walked towards the bed crawling with many insects. On the bed was a small green-haired baby, his emerald eyes staring at the the bugs in wonder as he was covered in a blue blanket and he had a yellow pacifier in his mouth. Hearing footsteps, the baby turned his head, confused at the newcomer.
"Hey there, little guy. Are you my new roommate?" Karma asked with a warm smile, stopping at the side of the bed and bending down towards the child's level.
The child stared at the red-haired man before nodding. "Dabu!"
"Aren't you a little too young to be at school?" Karma wondered aloud. Either there are people who could turn into babies or someone probably did something sneaky. He didn't mind it, however. As he saw it, he could stand being around children most of the time. He then asked. "Where are your parents?"
"Dabuu!" The baby pointed to the bugs on the bed. Karma blinked. The kid must think he was raised by bugs... maybe he was abandonned and the school didn't know about it!
"Oh... well then... I don't think your mom and dad are beetles. How about we wait here until they come back?" Truth be told, he didn't know how to raise a baby at all, but he knew that a baby shouldn't be left alone, especially at a bed where they could crawl off of it and hit their head. Besides, it was an excuse to get some shut-eye. He wiped some of the bugs off the bed before going on top of it, using his hands to hold the baby in place. The baby blinked and stared at him until he started to yawn.
"Sleepy, little guy? Me too." Karma yawned as well. He held the baby boy in his arms before laying down. "A little nap would do us both good, right?" The boy nodded in agreement, his eyes drooping slowly. Soon the baby and the teen were falling asleep, not noticing the active swarm of insects suddenly surrounding them.
Some time later...
A faint buzzing in his ears woke Karma up groggily, his eyes trying to adjust. He also heard giggling coming from the strange bundle of joy in his arms.
"What's got you all excited?" He asked the boy in a tired voice, only to stop upon finally seeing his surroundings. All around the two were thousands of squirming insects closing around them, all colorful and distinct from one another. Karma moved a bit, feeling that they were in some sort of sack. Oddly enough, the baby was squealing in glee at this.
Suddenly, a deep voice echoed all around the two, causing Karma's eyes to widen, "What the hell are you doin' with mah kid?"
It took Karma a moment to register the situation so far before he kept his cool and smirked, holding the baby close. "Oh.... he's yours? I don't see the family resemblance."
In reality, the bugs (having sensed an intruder on the bed with their cargo) informed the head bug and they gathered around them while using the blanket of burlap on the bed to entrap the new person, making a sack creature with arms, legs, eyes, and a mouth. The creature narrowed its eye sockets, its "hands" resting on the "stomach" where Karma and the baby were inside as it responded in a male voice. "Keep talkin' like that and yer gonna be a part of me in seconds!"
"I'm sorry. Did I hurt your feelings?" Karma's voice teased back. "I'm just keeping this baby company while his real parents come to get him."
That irritated the creature. He snarled, "I AM his parent!"
"Suuuurrrre you are. Whatever keeps you up at night~"
"Say one more thing! I DARE ya!" The bugs were stirring inside angrily. Karma needed to act quickly. One wrong move and he and the baby would be eaten alive by bugs or poisoned... whichever came first. Concentrating on the set up of the room, Karma closed his eyes and pictured a small desk between the two beds, remembering it as he concentrated. At that moment, the desk in the room suddenly burst into black flames, causing the large sack creature to yelp and jump out of the bed, staring at the black fire in the room in surprise.

Natsu was heading towards his dorm room, wanting to get the place ready. So far there have been familiar faces but new ones as well. No surprise through to him: It seemed like every single year the school just kept getting bigger and bigger. A good thing since it showed how important the place was to everyone.
"Wonder how some of the new guys are holding up." Natsu mumbled to himself.
Part of him wondered when a fight would break out or someone would use their magic outside of class. Natsu himself has started a few fights. Course, a lot of the teachers won't happy with how he destroyed parts of the school due to them.
He walked pass a few rooms when he started to hear noises coming from one of the rooms. Maybe a bad match or some type of misunderstanding? Wasn't uncommon during the first few weeks. Natsu walked over to the door and knocked on it.
"Hey, is everything alright in there?" Natsu called out.

Not only did some strange person came into his room holding his demon child, but suddenly a desk is burning with black flames. He tried blowing the fire away with his breath, but it was still there. Bugs+Fire= Death. How could it be any worse? A knock on the door was heard followed by a voice. Oogie started to panic while Karma smirked inside him. "Would you look at that? Reinforcements." "I swear, if I die, I'm takin' ya with me!""I'd like to see you try~" That did it. Bugs started biting at Karma while the flames grew bigger. Smoke filled the room as the large sack attempted to open the door despite the kicks he was getting from Karma. |

He stepped back a bit. He then charged to a part of the wall, letting out a battle like cry while doing so. The trick work as a huge hole was made., which allowed him in. Course, the smell of smoke hit Natsu right in the face. He couldn't help but gag a bit.

Natsu could smell the smoke now. One idea had filled his mind: Pure focus. His left fist soon had flames over it. "Alright, if you won't let me in then I'll focus my way in!" Natsu exclaimed. He stepped back a bit. He then charged to a part of the wall, letting out a battle like cry while doing so. The trick work as a huge hole was made., which allowed him in. Course, the smell of smoke hit Natsu right in the face. He couldn't help but gag a bit. "Overkill much?" Natsu gagged. ... Well this was awkward. Half the room was covered in black flames as a brown burlap creature was on the floor, laying on his back as he was pounding on his stomach. Kicks could be seen from the outside as there was some faint whimpering. Oogie suddenly stopped, noticing a strange pink-haired person having burst in the room. He stared before he pointed to his stomach as he and Karma both exclaimed, "He did it!!!" |

Natsu held his hand up a bit. OK, that could have gone a lot better. From what he saw, the desk was on fire, there was either a monster, curse being, or shape shifter with either a magic or non-magic user who got eaten, and for some reason, a baby was in the room. The room being destroyed through wasn't anything new. Everything else...it was a weird sight, even for him.
"OK, first, spilt the guy out or throw him up. The teachers would lost it if they found out a student was eaten." Natsu said.
He did not want to get into trouble again so soon during a new year. Not like how he did before.

An arm came out from the mouth as Karma slowly crawled his way out of there, the baby in his other arm as he had some bugs crawling on his body. Smiling in a crazed way, he laughed. "Whoo, I haven't had this much fun since forever! We should do this again next time. And is that a snake for a tongue? Is it a boa?" He then yelped when a mosquito bit his neck and he laughed, finally out of there. Oogie closed his mouth once Karma was out, glaring at him. The baby was whimpering a little, tears on the tip of his eyelids as electricity seem to sparkle around him. Noticing this made the monster growl. "Give back my baby, yer makin' him cry!""And what are you going to do about it? Eat me?" Karma asked playfully, rocking the baby a bit to calm him down. Oogie got up from the floor, about to knock this red-head out. |

He than recalled what Oogie had said. It took a few moments before the shock finally came over him.

"No, not at all! It's just that some bug colony don't make a human baby overnight." Karma admitted, being calm and smiling about the situation. He then had a devilish smirk on his face. "So, who's the lady you knocked up to get him?" That was the last straw! Oogie let out a cry, letting go of Natsu as he pounced at Karma, sending him to the ground hard. The fall caused the green-haired baby to suddenly wail and cry loudly, the sparking electricity instantly growing as it enveloped anyone near it, giving the boys a literal shock! |

There was no doubt other students around the area was hearing the noises going on. Or rather, have seen what was going on thanks to the huge hole in the wall. It wouldn't surprise him if someone even got a teacher by now. He just hoped it was a more understanding one and not someone more stern. Or worst...it be Yuko herself.

The baby kept electrocuting the three men until his crying died down to a whimper again, causing the electricity to die down as well. Oogie's burlap was now black and Karma's hair was standing on end as his skin was darkened a bit due to the shock. Both stared at each other before Oogie sat up and Karma laughed out loud. "Wow! I'm gonna fun at this school!" By this point, the baby was whimpering, about to cry again. Oogie snatched the baby out of Karma's arms, holding him close protectively. "See? We're scarin' the baby! He might be hungry too! If he cries, we'll get shocked again!" Oogie sighed, holding the baby. "Baby Be'el, we gotta work on that cryin' thing of yours. Ya want yer milk? Hilda made it for ya yesterday." He asked the green-haired baby. At that, Baby Be'el nodded slowly, wanting some milk. A small swarm of bugs who were still alive from the shock came out of Oogie and went under the bed before pulling out a bottle of milk. Oogie grabbed the bottle, squirt some on his wrist to feel how warm it is before taking out Beel's pacifier and giving him milk. Watching this, Karma blinked. "Well... looks like you are the father after all!" |

"Gotta say, you're pretty good with kids." Natsu said with a smile.
He rubbed the back of his head, trying to think on the best way to apologizes. He felt a bit bad with how he reacted when Oogie mentioned Be'el was his kid the first time.

He held up his fingerless hand to shake. Be'el glanced up a little, giving Natsu a thumbs up as he continued to drink milk. "... Say, shouldn't we do something about the desk burning to a crisp?" Karma pointed out. "You made it, send it back!" Oogie exclaimed. "Hey, I didn't learn that yet. I can only make it bigger and move it around!" |

"...I could try eating it. Through I never ate dark flames before. Just normal ones." Natsu said with a small grin, "So this could be a test to see how well I do."

Seeing this, Karma started to help out by moving his hands a bit, making the fire move towards Natsu in one spot for him to try to eat it, the black flames staying where they were at Karma's command. |

As Oogie just stared in disbelief and Baby Be'el clapped in excitement after he drank the bottle, his eyes sparkling with glee, Karma just whistled. "I didn't know you had it in you. Maybe you could teach me that." As they watched the flames disappear, leaving a charred desk, a knock was heard on the wall before someone came in from the hole in the wall, holding a new desk. "Looks like you three met and I got here just on time." It was a tall woman with dark skin, sunglasses, and a square Afro, wearing shades of red and black colors. She had no emotion on her face. |

"Well I was about to go on a mission until I found a possibility that something was about to happen, so I waited until my cue." Garnet admitted before going back to the hallway and showed by a black backpack, "And Karma, Nagisa wanted me to give you your things." "Oh, I was wondering where that was. Tell Nagisa I said thanks." Karma smiled, grabbing his things. Oogie's jaw dropped. That jerk's name was Karma?! "I know what you two are going to say." Garnet looked towards Oogie and Natsu. "Yes, you and Karma are roommates... and you three won't be in trouble. Just don't let it happen again. When I get back from my mission, I'll fix the room." |

Now that I'm wide awake, I might as well take a better look around." Karma said. He looked to the green haired baby, "See you later, Baby Be'el." "Dabuu!" Be'el squealed in response, waving at Karma. The red head then looked up at Oogie with a smirk. "And hope the next dinner date would be better. See you!" With that, Karma left the room. Oogie groaned, "What kind of a school is this?" |

Natsu looked at Oogie when he heard this.
"Take it from someone who's pretty much lived here all his life: Arcane Magi Academy may be crazy at times but everyone here are pretty much one big happy family." Natsu explained with a huge grin on his face.
The pink haired boy wouldn't know where he would even be at without the place. Cheesy it may sound, sure, but he truly meant it when he called everyone here like family. Even if there were a few bullies that Natsu could recall.

"Take it from someone who's pretty much lived here all his life: Arcane Magi Academy may be crazy at times but everyone here are pretty much one big happy family." Natsu explained with a huge grin on his face. The pink haired boy wouldn't know where he would even be at without the place. Cheesy it may sound, sure, but he truly meant it when he called everyone here like family. Even if there were a few bullies that Natsu could recall. He seemed to move his eye sockets a bit as if he were rolling his eyes when he suddenly gagged, holding his chest. "Oh no... I'm changin' back! Hold Be'el!" Oogie gave Baby Be'el to Natsu to hold before he quickly crawled underneath the bed moaning. The bed shook a bit as sounds of bones cracking were heard before the bed was still. A few minutes passed until someone else came out from the bed; a tall brown-haired teenager wearing casual black clothing, white shirt, and jeans with an annoyed look on his face. He got up, dusting himself off. |

He tried not to mention the sudden change in personality of Oogie. After all, it may be due to how the forms were for all Natsu knew. And the reasons for the transformation made sense...for the most part. The only thing that confused him was the transformation happening when Be'el was mad.

"I've seen a lot of stuff while growing up here." Natsu said, sounding pretty proud of himself for that fact, "Honestly, a lot of stuff people would find weird or can't believe are things I seen before. Rather it be because of the city itself or folks who come to this school."
