Sly had leave his dorm room to explore the school and city a bit. So far things seemed to be going well. Sly's room mate hadn't been at the dorm yet. But with students still arriving he figured the person was still training. And classes haven't started so Sly didn't have to worry about any teachers he may piss off in the future by mistake.
The raccoon was walking around the garden as he glanced around the area. It seemed perfectly normal with basic flowers and plants. Then again, the plants used for potions were most likely kept else way where students couldn't reach them. Even still, the garden looked beautiful. Sly chuckled to himself. Tsubomi would have a field day once she sees all the different flowers.

he noticed someone looking around the gardens amazed. He was 15 Years old, with blonde hair was spikey in a windswept style (though it was covered by his hat at the time) wore a green shirt, a black and white jacket, grey shorts and dull green sneakers. on his back was a backpack and he was holding a bag on one hand and on his other he had a note and a map

Most likely a new student like him. Then again, he couldn't be completely sure. He overheard some students mention how Yuko liked to change a few things around each year. Sly started to walk over to the person.
"Excuse me! How you new here?" Sly asked.

the Boy blinks and turns with a smile and looked amazed seeing Sly. almost like he never saw a Raccoon Person. he shook it off and rubs the back of his head chuckling embrased

That part was true. Sly could easily recalled the times he would get stares at his old town, always from folks who never seen beings like him. Through he didn't let him bother him. After all, he was sure he would be surprise to if he was in their shoes.

anyway, I wanted to check out the school before I go to my dorm. I've been looking forward to coming here ever since I heard of it from my adopted dad, I want to check it out! see what classes and clubs I could be in, you know

"Really? What makes them think this place would be bad for you?" Sly asked in a bit of concern.
From what Tsubomi had mentioned to Sly, the school seemed perfectly safe. Sure, some students didn't have magic like others, but non-magic users could learn how to protect themselves against magic. Than again, most places were better than the streets Sly once lived on.

they just....worried you know? I'm not a magic user, and there was a lot of stuff out there that could hurt me..." he said rubbing his head as a flashback shows a chibi version of Ventus trying to sneak out the window. the chibi ven having trouble pulling his bag out the window
my dad didn't want me to go, so I tried to sneak out....but...
it shows chibi ven falling out the window until a light blue barrier stooped him as it showed two chibi silhouettes , one boy and one girl
.....I kinda got caught ^^;

Sly sweat dropped. He could only image the trouble Ventus had gotten into when that happened.
"Guess that makes sense on why they may worry. Through how did you talk them into letting you come here?" Sly asked.
He wondered what caused the sudden change of mind on Ventus's adopted father. Unless Ventus sneaked out again. Through the raccoon hoped that wasn't the case.

well after a good lecture by Terra and Aqua, my best friends about how not to run away expecailly from a window from the top floor of the house" he said sweatdropping "i told them why I wanted to go. how I didn't want to stay cope up in the house forever, and how they cant always be there watching over me like im a baby. I wasn't ten anymore. I want to see new places, experience new things, see and meet new friends! Aqua and Terra thought it over and agreed, and we convinced my dad to let me go. of course, with a few condtions. one I must send letters to him to make sure im alright, two if something happens, anything at all, I cant keep it to myself, and three, whenever I go out in town to stop by at Aqua shop, just so they know im alright

Plus, the conditions didn't seem to hard to the raccoon. Heck, it sounded like what most parents would have their kids promise while they were at a boarding school to Sly.

They helped me pack and told me some things about the school, like this garden. and Aqua even made me this" he said reaching into his pocket and taking out a green star shaped charm. the borders were silver, and inside the borders were green see through glass, the middle was a little heart shaped badge and it was held by brown string.

Aqua told me its a wayfinder" he said smiling "its a good luck charm in a way, meaning an unbreakable connection. she made one for herself and terra to. Apparently if each one of us has one, we'll always find our way back to each other. Aqau said you were supposed to use seashells for it, but she did the best with what she had at our home

An unbreakable connection. The raccoon wondered if the charm truly would work or not. Either way, it sounded like a nice way to show the bonds a person had with another.

"Well, I know there's some like Defense against the Dark Arts at seem pretty useful." Sly said.
Course, he recalled how a few classes like the Shape shifting class were for students with certain powers to train better so they knew how to control the powers. Due to Sly's illusion magic, there were some like that one he couldn't take. Unless he somehow gained a new power. But he didn't see that happening in his future.
