"Really? So do you live close by or did you have a lot way to travel?" Adrien asked, getting more curious. Partly due to his cat DNA. He recalled how he and Plagg had a bit of a long trip. They had to stop at two train station, one to take them to a town closer to Lunaville while the second took them to the city. Something his father was originally against but Adrien talked him into it as long as a worker was with the young boy for most of the trip. A bit annoying to Adrien on how he basically needed a bodyguard for most of the way but it give him more freedom than if his father had his way from the start. "My hometown is actually pretty close, so it didn't take too long for me to get here." Oka admitted. She wondered if Adrien had traveled a long way before he arrived. Either way, judging by his slightly cat-like behavior, from her observation of him, it mustn't have been pleasant for either him or Plagg. At that thought, Oka gave the cat another scratch underneath the chin.

Plagg purred as his leg moved a bit again. Carefully through so he wouldn't hurt Oka by mistake.
"That's pretty cool." Adrien admitted.
It must have been nice to live close by Lunaville and knowing one could visit family members easily.
"It took me and Plagg awhile to get here. My dad even send a worker with us to make nothing happened." Adrien explained, a bit embarrassed by that fact. He then smiled, "Course I had fun seeing the different areas. There were some cool sights along the way. And I think Plagg enjoyed the cheese shop we stopped at a station."
Plagg's ear peaked up a bit at the mention of cheese.

She smiled when Plagg's ears perked. Seemed liked he was fond of cheese. She wondered if it was possible to carry around cheese to coax/bribe the cat with without smelling like the dairy food itself. Oka was sure there was a way. "So, I guess he likes cheese?" Oka asked.

"Yeah." Adrien said, chuckling a bit, "I could never figure out why. I would always have to carry some around with me back when he was a kitten and he was being trained."
The blonde haired half human, half cat boy smelt like cheese for weeks during at time. Even with all the showers he took and the many times his cloth were washed. But it was worth it since it helped taught Plagg how to behavior...for the most part. As the library event showed, Plagg still wondered off whenever they were in new buildings.

Oka nodded in understanding, feel a bit sorry for the younger Adrien. It must have been not pleasant to carry around all that cheese, and smell like it, too. Still, from what she saw, Plagg was a generally well-behaved cat...except for being in new places, Oka supposed. Well, she didn't blame him. Everyone and everything arriving at the school was curious about the place they would be living in for the new year, including herself.

"Yeah. But it was worth it." Adrien added. "Those months helped me and Plagg grow closer."
Plagg smiled with a small purr. Adrien smiled and pet his cat's head a bit at this. While training wasn't always easy, it did help them become close. Heck, while it may sound silly to some who didn't own pets, those times, along with other bonding moments, helped Plagg feel like part of the family.

She wished she had a pet of her own, it would have made her younger years, when her magic often went out of control, a lot easier for herself.

Plagg looked up at Oka and give a curious 'meow', almost like he was asking if everything was alright. The cat's tail moved from side to side a bit.

Oka smiled reassuringly and gave Plagg a scratch behind one of his ears, giggling as he began purring again. She now knew what his weak-spots were, so she'd have to take advantage of them in the future.

Adrien smiled as he watched. It seemed Plagg was really taking a liking to Oka already.
"...You know, you're pretty good with animals." Adrien said.

Oka blushed slightly at the compliment, smiling modestly as she used her free hand to move some strands of hair out of her eyes. "T-thanks..." Oka said.

Plagg yawned a tiny bit before he started to fell asleep. All the exploring and the train ride made him in the mood for a cat nap.

"You're welcome." Adrien said with a smile. Oka smiled back. She had a nice, warm feeling in her heart, was this what having friends was like? If it was, she now understood why people had so many friends. It was a wonderful feeling.

Adrien was glad on how well he and Oka were getting along. Part of him was worried he wouldn't make any friends while at the school. But it seemed like he was making a great friend already in Oka. It could seem naïve to some since he and Oka first met but he felt like the two were already becoming friends.

It could seem naïve to some since he and Oka first met but he felt like the two were already becoming friends. Oka wanted to become friends with Adrein, she really did, but they had to know more about each other. They had to learn about each other as they spent time together, both good and bad things...and the funny thing, where Oka would usually shy from that...she wanted Adrien to know these things about her. She had a feeling, that if even he knew the truth about her magic, he wouldn't be afraid. She would understand worry and caution, but she didn't believe he would become afraid of her. It was a comforting thought, and she wanted to believe it.

Adrien was trying to think of what else they could talk about. The thought of asking about her old home or any of her interests entered his mind. At way, he knew what she would enjoy if they were to ever go out to the city to have fun or just go someplace to goofy up for a bit. He knew she enjoyed his cat puns but figured that wouldn't be enough. Maybe ask about certain clubs she would want to join or classes she planned to take?
Course, there was also her magic too. While the thought of shadow element magic didn't scare him, he recalled how she wanted to learn more about it. Maybe they could look through the books to see if there was any history information at could possible help her out in some weird way.

Oka also tried to think of how to continue the conversation, similar thoughts running through her head. At the same time, she wanted to learn more about her magic...speaking of which, she still had the book. How did she forget that? The dark-haired girl pulled the book out from where she had it, likely having put it there unconsciously when she searched for Plagg in the library. Sometimes, her unconscious habits confused her.

"Glad to see you still have it." Adrien said. "I was wondering if you had brought it with you or not."
He remembered how Oka had a bit of a fall to try to reach it.

He remembered how Oka had a bit of a fall to try to reach it. "Yeah. I'm glad I didn't forget it, I almost fell off a chair for it, after all." Oka said. She was actually happy because it meant she had won against the silent war the novel had raised against. Of course, it would have gotten the last laugh if Adiren hadn't stopped her from falling. The dark-haired girl smirked at the book slightly, obviously proud of being the victor of the perceived battle that had been waged in the library.

Adrien looked towards the book, curious on the information it could have and if any information inside it could help Oka.
