Adrien smiled. He than turned his attention to the page Oka had opened. It was describing magic based on the darker elements, like darkness, shadows, death and the like. While a select few were born with magic of the shadows, death and darkness were rarer, and much harder to control then the heavily volatile shadow magic. Many magic-users of the two variant often secluded themselves in order to prevent their magic from harming others, though it is believed that it's much easier to be able to control should their user be trained from a young age. Oka supposed she was lucky that she got shadow magic instead of darkness or death. At she had some sort of control over her magic, and it was definitely less harmful then the other two. Though, that didn't make it easy for shadow-magic users all the same. |

"Whoa..." Adrien said to himself, a bit surprised.
He never imaged there being magic users with powers over the element of death. He was a bit familiar with shadow and darkness but thought they were more of the same thing. And to read how hard the powers could be to control...part of him couldn't help but feel bad for anyone who may have no control over their magic and were most likely scared, unsure what to do.
Course, he recalled how Oka mentioned she had shadow magic and how she was fingering the choker earlier. He wondered if it was something used to help keep her magic under control.

"Whoa..." Adrien said to himself, a bit surprised. He never imaged there being magic users with powers over the element of death. And to read how hard the powers could be to control...part of him couldn't help but feel bad for anyone who may have no control over their magic and were most likely scared, unsure what to do. Course, he recalled how Oka mentioned she had shadow magic and how she was fingering the choker earlier. He wondered if it was something used to help keep her magic under control. "Yeah, it's kinda scary, isn't it? The different types of magic, and how dangerous they could be if they aren't taught to control it..." Oka said, touching her choker. The dark-haired girl didn't fear her magic, at least, until it began going berserk and trying to hurt others when she was little. But, now though, she was surrounded by people with other magic, some even more powerful then her own, so they would surely be able to help her learn better control, without having to relay on her magic-controlling choker. She hoped that was the case, anyways. |

He noticed Oka touched her choker again and became concern. Clearly it had to be related to her magic. Most likely what he had originally thought. He wanted to ask about it but wasn't sure how to without saying rude. And that was the last thing he wanted to do.

Adrien was clearly trying hard to not be rude or say anything that could upset her, and that made her happy. While she didn't necessarily like talking about her troubles with her magic, she knew that it would help her feel better if she got it off her chest. "You can ask. I'm not gonna be mad." Oka said. |

Adrien yelped for a moment in surprise to himself. He quickly calmed down and realized she had figured out on the fact he was curious. Through he was relief to hear she wasn't mad or anything of the matter.
"If you're sure. Sorry, I was wondering if your choker was somehow connected with your powers. I couldn't help but notice you were touching it a few times when something related to your magic was brought up." Adrien said.

She was sure he wouldn't be afraid of her after being told the truth. "Yes, it does. When I was little, my magic often...went out of control and because my parents were worried that I would hurt not only myself but others with it, they took me to see a magic-user near our home-town to see if he could do anything. He made this choker so that it would calm my magic and allow me to control it until I was able to learn proper control." Oka explained. |

He was glad the magic user was able to help Oka out by giving her the choker. From what he could tell, Oka was the type of girl who wouldn't hurt a fly. Plus, he was sure that, someday, she would be able to learn how to control her powers properly.

Because my magic's been calm all these years, if it returns to it's volatile nature now...it'll likely go on a dangerous rampage." Oka said. She feared what her magic would do on the rampage, but she just hoped that her choker stayed around her neck if anything were to happen. |

Plagg nuzzled his head into Oka's hand, earning another giggle as she continued to pet him, also giving him a scratch underneath the chin. With the double attack, Plagg just laid back down on Oka's lap, practically putty in her hands. |
